I think my main issue with the design is that it looks too chibi for my tastes. iGear's looked burly in their proportions IMO, this one looks tubby.

I'm not really sold on that final colour scheme. The grey is a bit dark to me and the purple is entirely the wrong shade. The eyes should also be a different colour and not silver. There just isn't enough contrast there or maybe it's just that the tones are wrong.
Either way....I'm gonna pass on these or wait on a possible repaint later down the line.

I'll get the Legends size one too, but only out of general interest. This is more the size I want.
Really, the colors looks like the render's - except done in actual real paint and not flat CGI. The ONLY thing that bugs me are those silver eyes. Why?

The eyes really should be more of a greenish/yellow/gold color, but I see no reason to kill my preorder.

It looks like the bot head on these might be a bit larger. It might be cartoon accurate, but these look ever so slightly more goofy than the iGear.
On the other hand, these are supposed to look goofy.
