Well, I think I'm sold on this line. I can accept it for what it is. Looks like fun to me.

I also didn't mind the limbs on the Energon combiners, though I'm stoked as hell about the FP kit.

I just wish the paint job on this set was a little more G1, but that's okay, it'll pass as a Bruticus homage.

As for the figures, the price and the endless mix and match possibilities, these suckers are pretty cool.

Gotta give em credit though. Puzzler was WAY ahead of it's time. I think the main difference between him and a TF gestalt is that his designers started out with the combined mode in mind. the result is that the individual robots, while passable and IMO pretty interesting, suffered a bit as compared to say the constructicons. When it comes to their combination gimmick though, they blow all the old G1 gestalts away, robo penis or no robo penis.
