So HFTD & Generations are essentially merging into yellow-packaged RTS, because both styles of figures are being released under it. Otherwise, you could say Turbo Tracks & Jazz are Moviverse if you base it on the packaging, but they're clearly not. So from that viewpoint, Lugnut could go either way.
They're phasing out Generations packaging? Where and when was this said?
I forget when/what site posted it first, but here's a story on tformers (first thing that came up in google, apologies if I'm not supposed to be posting links to other sites): http://tformers.com/transformers-reveal-the-shield-deluxe-wave-1-jazz-fallback-tracks-mindset-in-package/14412/news.html

If I was Peaugh, I probably would have reshot the section where he was complaining about the robot-mode aesthetics whilst, in actuality, having it mistransformed. It was making me a little lukwarm on getting the figure, considering how psyched I was before - and I nearly stopped the video before the addendum!
Classic Peaugh though, reminds me of the time I nearly didn't buy Animated Swindle because he had it mistransformed and said it didn't roll. I was creasing myself when I got it home and realised that it rolls beautifully...

This looks too cartoonish/animated, and I'm not a fan of Animated, really.

That's why I don't like Peaugh's reviews. It's like he rushes the review just to be the first one to do it and he very often screws up somewhere. What's the point of watching a review when the guy doing it gets it wrong so many times?

You guys have a point but at the same time he is providing a free service (sorry travel and tourism business student here). If you dont like the reviews go watch Optibotmus, Sean (where ever he is) or some of the other guys (sorry again been off facetube for a while)
Facetube = pun from James May

I feel much the same way. The movie brought me back in 07. I hadn't had a transformer since G2 toys were on the shelves. And I very much like seeing Mustangs, F22's, and Peterbuilt trucks turn into these characters. Because when I'm out and I see one, I feel like hey... it could be... it could be.
At the same time, I'm actually selecting individual molds out of the Generations line so far that I like. The WFC molds especially, and Drift to compliment those. And I continue to look at each new mold to see if it'll fit what I'm trying to do. But this one does not fit, mostly for the reasons you listed.
Now Tracks... quite possibly.

Because he usually has the first look at a fig, his camera picture is clear, and his reviews are straight to the point for the most part. He doesn't spend 5+ minutes telling you what color every last part is (which you can easily see in pictures) or rotate every single joint saying 360 degrees, 360 degrees, 360 degrees (man, that's annoying!) Sure, there are a few guys out there that are more entertaining, but when I watch a review it's not to be entertained. I just want info on a figure...and Peaugh typically does the best job of providing that, and first to boot.
OptiMagnus10 wrote:Wait...so this is an actual Generations series voyager? I'm confused.
Peaugh wrote:Yes, the underslung cannon can still be done with the proper transformation. Also, moving those shoulders up allows for enough room for Lugnut to fire the cannon over his back.

Not really...Generations as the name of the line is being phased out after the current wave. The next wave with Jazz & Tracks is going to be called "Reveal The Shield" and packaged with yellow cards instead of red, while the current non-deluxe figures will continue on in similar packaging but dropping the "Hunt for the Decepticons" tagline. I believe they may also be using the "Reveal The Shield" tagline, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Basically, he's Generations if you want him to be.

I agree with both of you on this very much. Right down to the Tracks comment.![]()
When I first saw pictures of this figure I really thought it was a must-buy, but now I really don't have a lot of desire to grab it. I actually think it is a neat figure, but it just isn't my cup of tea. There's no other way to explain it. I guess I feel the same as far as liking the more "realistic" alt modes more.
