I hope the alt mode in that video is a mistransformation. That doesn't look like a satellite.

To be honest, it's probably the only "protoform" fig I'd get that I've seen to date, besides Premium Leader Megs (who will stay forever in robot mode on my Movie shelf...)

Looks like a decent figure but to me its not soundwave. Worth picking up but im renaming it.

By "protoform", I guess you mean "a pile of kibble and bits"?

Still not too convinced on buying this figure. It is nice to see video of it closer to being properly transformed. I am not impressed with the arms/hands, but atleast some of that kibble folds down. The fact that it is a deluxe makes it a little easier to pick up with no regrets (hopefully the earth mode will be Voyager atleast).

I wouldn't be surprised if the looseness in the chest area is the result of a uninstalled automorph mechanism. Looks pretty cool, he line needs more odd-ball alternate modes like satellites.

Hmmm, I was gonna skip out on TFs this year and get caught up with some vintage stuff cause I got tired of the Movie asthetic very quick, but this guy actually looks kinda good. Might add him to Strika's army of Vehicons. He looks like he could fit in with them, maybe an upgraded form or something. She needs to some new troops anyway.

In semi related news I'd pay $30/$60 for Tokewave and his minicon Roach Clip.

Yea, I heard about that also. Just seems silly to be angry about not being the first to review something. Reminds me of the whole Universe Silverbolt incident a few months ago...

Either way I don't care much for video reviews. I prefer the text and picture versions.

I much prefer the text/pic versions too. That way I can skip the self-promoting crap and the transformation lessons since figuring out how a new TF transforms on your own is the whole point.

And which one is sean long? The one with the retarded tats all over his little girl fingers with the french manicured nails or the effeminate one that has his little sister take the vids and talk over him the whole time? Ugh, can't wait for the vid-review fad to die.
