I agree. If the Beast is allowed into this fight, along with Predaking, Abominus and the oft-neglected Monstructor('cuz of that energy drain thing), I don't see much competition, size advantage of the city bots considered.

The Beast does not exist in canon lore therefore does not come into play... Now if I am reading this correctly this is talking about Cityformers of sorts... Sorry Most City Formers harness more firepower than three of the most heavily armed combiners. Plus Cityformers can punt small insignificant combiners into near by suns.

if we want to go none canon then we may as well have a combiner made of combiners... Now if Lio Kaiser was included in this fight then the gestalts may have a chance, but baring that nope.

what makes monstructor and lio kaiser so imense powerful alone? liokaiser aint bigger than devastator and monsructor dosnt have a bio for all i know

Monstructos' bio is in the Dreamwave More Than Meets the Eye series. He somehow has the ability to drain lifeforces and has some manner of corrosive touch that he wields. So essentially, becuase Monstructor can physically weaken beings by touching them, like weaken their armor and structure, as well as drain their energy by being in the same general area, I think that he would be able to overcome larger beings.
The MTMTE bio is pretty vague about these abilities, but at least they are mentioned.

I don't see why everyone thinks Predaking is so powerful. Dai Atlas pwn'd him in one move. I think the gestalts would still win, though. Does everyone in Operation: Combination count?

Fort Max, Scorponok, Omega Supreme, Metroplex, thats a S#$T load of firepower, I gotta say Cityformers take it.Besides combiners do not even come close in size comparition.

I'm thinking if they combine with another to make a bigger mech of some sort they qualify as a gestalt (aka combiner) I don't think a trailer platform counts as a cityformer unless your really want to count every other Prime in this fight too. I think the cityformers are all comparitive to... well a city.

Does anyone have a working list of cityformers? How about gestalts? I have a hunch the numbers will decide the outcome.

Some of these really don't count as gestalts though, like Galvatron and Nemesis Breaker, that's just a combined mode. So Omega Prime the Energon Dinobot wouldn't count by that rational, nor the powerlinx energon combos (Ironhide/Jetfire, etc.) or super mode Primes. The energon combiners would count though, because they actually are combiner teams, and not just an augmented form of one robot. But, by that, I guess Omega Prime and Sky Linx would sort of count, so would that ugly energon Dinobot, because those combined forms result in a different robot altogether, while the powerlinx combos just enhance one of the component parts.

This is hard, I feel like I need an advanced university degree in order to really figure this out. At any rate, the citybots would be outnumbered......

Plus, although they aren't a gestalt themselves, Monstructor is made up of Pretenders, so there are six monster shells that could get involved.
