yes i do feel a little better now that i found out its not an alt. But im still a little pissed because its another damn exclusive that i wont be able to get. I must edit my first post now.

I did just think about one thing that kinda p*sses me off about it: untill now, I had every figure with the name Swerve,not that there's many (G1, Alt, Universe, Cybertron)....but now it's not complete...

I see a wider release of this mold in the future. That is alot of retooling! It's not just his head, arms, and feet that are changed. His alt mode is different from Swindles, and it even looks like he might transform slightly differently too! That's alot money and effort for such a limited exclusive. And it's not even for BotCon! Unless Chevy gave Hasbro a ton of money to keep this remold totally 100% exclusive, I see them releasing him or repainting him sooner or later.

Okay, this is kindacrazy. I'm really hoping this guy will be available without the car, I like the way he loks and I'd pick him up as a deluxe. And now, he's NOT a remold of Swindle. He has a similar transformation, but this is the same thing that happpened with Energon Starscream and Cybertron Hardtop.

He may be a retool of movie Swindle, but everything that I did NOT like about Swindle has been retooled, so I REALLY like this figure. If they don't make this Swerve available some other way, then I hope Hasbro *at least* reuses the mold for another character that gets a wider release.

That's a pretty neat looking transformer. I like how the wheels move into the torso.

However, I'm not old enough to buy a car. Even if I were, there's no way I'd buy one just for that.

Well, I can tell you that I do, and alot of the characteristics are the same. This is why I said Swindle retool, either that or they started with the Swindle design in mind.

yeah i went down there today and they didn't have the toy i told them i would buy a car unless they get one lol i was joking i just wanted to see if they would give it too me and by the way i don't have a broken leg the doctor read the x-ray wrong

The head reminds me of warpath.

And it's NOT a retool of swindle. There's almost nothing in common. Legs are completely different, arms are completely different, chest, stomach, head all different.

Somehow I missed it in the directions, but someone on the Allspark caught it, apparently there is a 'Universe' logo or indicator on them.

Why is that important? Well, because that may mean that he is going to be a part of the UNIVERSE line (aka CLASSICS 2.0) next fall.

We can only hope.
