If you look close enough you can barely see them, but I don't think you'll be able to make out if they've been clipped or not.

There's no way to see what you're getting until you open it, unless you go by the numbers imprinted on the back of the box by the Paramount logo. I guess Forrest Gump summed up Crankcase best.

It's the number stamped into the bottom of the card (on the back). Here's a picture of the number (from my Topspin figure).

you sure its 03651? i looked at 8 boxes while i was at walmart (needed some way to kill time) and they all started with 10 save for one that started with 05. Has anyone tried to get hasbros take on this? Id really like to know why they decided to do it this way, to my knowledge this is the first time anything like this has happened.

Yeah, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of variety in the numbers. I've only seen 10601 and 03651 up here, and it was only one Wal-Mart that had the 03651 figures.

A bit off topic, but I picked up a Deluxe Class Roadbuster at WalMart today only to open him when I got home and realize that he only has one headlight painted on to him. LAME!

Just something to watch out for, as the headlights are visible through the packaging and had I paid more attention in the store, I could have selected a different one, as there were several in stock.

I managed to get to TRU tonight because they had a sale on the human alliance basics, deluxes, and voyagers. I was super unsure on crankcase especially after reading this, this afternoon but to my luck mine wasn't neutered for "safety reasons" and now can continue to wreak havoc by poking out optics and flipping the bird on the battlefield :twisted:

Is there any way to tell if they have been snipped off by looking at it inside the package without opening it? I just went to target and wal-mart and out of atleast 20 crankcases there was only one that was product code, 10531 and the rest where 10601 which is known to be snipped. Thus that being said I bought the 10531 and I'm pretty sure you can see the finger sticking out of the bottom looking at it from the top....scared to open.

so other the just lookin at crankcase hands which mine is cut to how can u tell if his fingers are not cut is there like a code or something on the package

also on mine he has to right side pinchers

You have to check the product codes stamped next to the Paramount logo. Check the News Archives or a few pages back for the exact codes.

ah thx i was lookin all over the package for it an i found it its just a indentation its not a printed thing

It's more of an indentation than a stamp.

When I checked my Walmart all I saw was |060|, which I didn't know the bracets were 1s. So I picked up |060| and his mid. fingers were chopped off.

I'm not too upset, compared to pictures, they look better than expected IMO.
