I remember reading that Nintendo was planning to put in 3 3rd-party characters other than Snake. Looks like they're keeping true to that. AWESOME!

A dream has been cast!! Sonic joins the fray!
Too cool! Watched the video, even cooler. Smash Bros. is my reason for getting the Wii, and it would be very hard for the game to disapoint. I put probably around 200 hours into Melee, I'll probably put at least that into Brawl.

That would be so awsome. Mega Man is pretty Nintendo oriented(save for the PS1 era, and the couple X-games on the PS2), but they'd probably go the Battle Network route. I'd love to see the original version used though.
If Sonic is in there, how bout Tails and Knuckles? Metal Sonic? We can only dream, but maybe they'll be in there in trophy form.

And yes, Megaman would be great to have in their as well. Although with Megaman X, the designers could throw in that "Shining Finger" attack from the PSP game as an in-joke.

Maybe for his Super Smash Attack, it could be a mix of the Hadoken and and the Shoryuken? I don't think he ever got the Shining Finger in-game. (Though it would be cool to hear Mark Gatha give the Shining Finger speech again)

I'm a huge smash fan, and check the site every weekday. Sonic looks like an awesome character.
Does anybody know how to play with advanced techs? I do, and it adds a whole new level to smash. Search some videos on youtube. Try "Ken ssbm". Ken's the best smasher in melee (Maybe not currently), and he mains marth. Damn.....I'm running my mouth

That's a bit of an overstatement. Sega's making games for all 3 systems, but yes, nintendo and sega have definitely warmed up to each other.
