After months of convincing myself that I don't want any G1 stuff ... I finally have come to the conclusion that I want all of the Dinobots.
I found most of them at a local "mom & pop" toy shop, even swoop ... for a great price.
My question, how do I know if they are reissues or not? The figures are all loose.
The Grimlock isn't G1, but it's the G2 blue version. I think I'll pick that up too if it's still there.
Any thoughts?

I guess what I'm seeing on ebay are KO's then. Some are listed as reissues.
This is good to know.

I find it odd that Skylynx is getting a reissue but the dinobots aren't. surely the dinobots would get higher sales?
skylynx can't be repainted as anything so I was a bit surprised when i heard of its reissue, but I think that means we'll have a dinobot reissue set soon, maybe on the lines of a predaking style giftset (because they are a team I guess).
maybe takara is waiting for some monumental event until it warrants the release of the dinobots.
another thing I want to ask people in the know is:
If KO makers are reverse engineering the mold to make a KO then will the KO's also have the official hasbro/takara date stamp (eg hasbro 1984)?
because in essence they are just cloning these molds but probably with inferior plastic.
