Seriously folks, everyone gets excited about their new purchases. However we have such a thread dedicated to such things. Kinda sucks having to wade through all the "I got so and so and he sucks/rocks" threads don't cha think? For example:

I read some of those examples listed and although the members say they purchased an item... there are also discussion topics in them. I personally don't see anything wrong with what was posted.

I always post in the hauls thread and will post details of what I've picked up unless it's a newish and fairly common item and there's already some recent discussion of it going on in the forums. If it's an older or more obscure item I'll post a mini review in that thread, but don't really see it as being worth a thread of it's own. If it's KOs I'll say what I've got and post a mini review in the KO thread.

We all get excited when something special comes in but it's in everyone's interests to keep the toys forum tidy and only post new threads for the sake of discussion or advice rather than acquisitions (which have their own thread) or sightings (which now have their own forum). Keep it real people.

Seriously though, Flux is right, and mods should start just taking down those other threads...if they weren't busy trying to do so much peacekeeping in so many threads. In flux of new users is great, but causing difficulties for all.

Umm... CP while I'd like to say yes, we need to do this in a way where people feel like they can come back, not that they are being harassed for just making a mistake.
