They asked for the same thing att BBTS, but I don't have any camera

I'll be spending some time hunting for one today, hopefully someone has one i could borrow ^^

Question - MP Skywarp is packaged in Jet mode, so if his head wasn't attached, then did it fall out when you took it out of the package? :???:

Well I've made contact with them now and it seems they are trying to help me atleast ^^
As soon as I've got them to understand what the problem is (they think it's broken at the ball joint, or that I'm missing the head) they'll probably have me return it and send a new one.
The problem is that I have a sinking feeling of having to pay the shipping yet again....$36 hurts when you have to pay it more than once -.-"

Jupp, it was packed in jetmode, but the head was jammed between the nosecone and the shoulders, so it didn't fall of untill I started to move stuff atound the chest.

The head was facing into the chest, so i thought it was supposed to look like that -.-"

Still hunting for a camera...
And i've thought of repairing it my self, but even though I feel I'm a good modeller (playing Warhammer since -96 or so) I feel that it's far too easy to scratch the figure or to outright break it

Ah I finally managed to get a friend of mine to help me with a camera.

Here you can see the metal rod I talked about. It is supposed to hold the head and you can tell where it's ment to go as there's a big gap there, showing the rod itself. It is the same rod that holds the entire cockpit section of the plane as well.

And here's the head, as you can clearly see the head's not broken in any way... just not attached

Looking forward to hear what you have to say about it (other than "you're screwed")

Oh dang. If BBTS won't help, I think all you can do is try to fix it yourself. That's a hard thing to do though.

yeah, just sat down and checked it, tried to remove the pin carfully, but it is pretty well fastened. I don't think I can get it out without damaging it :-?

I'm in aconversation with a support on BBTS at the moment, and it looks like they will take it in and send me another one... problem is, I will probably have to pay for the shipping, which will really hurt my wallet :sad:

It looks like I have to pay for the returning of the broken toy, but they will give me an item of the same worth as the shipping. And they will pay for the shipping back to me.
All in all, I'm happy with that ^^

That sounds alright then. So they can definitely give you another Skywarp? If it came down to it I would rather get a refund than a substitution of another figure. But I know you just meant they'd send you a bonus item to cover the shipping cost.

Yupp, I'll get a new Skywarp, and that's the most important thing. They couldn't pay for me returning the broken one, but if I get a bonus item, as you said, to cover my expences (spelling?) then I'm happy ^^
Especially as I've been itching to get a Classics Jetfire ^^

They will refund the shipping costs in the form of an item of my choise and of the same cost.

I must say that I will definently buy more stuff from BBTS.
They may be expensive, but I can live with that with support like that.

Yikes, that is really quite bizarre. Almost as if whoever was putting him together forgot to attach the head, realizes at the last second and says, "Aw, screw it." Then puts the head inside and boxes him up.

Auch, and i thought i had reason to be somewhat dissapointed because mine came with paint missing from the purple stripings on both cube-shaped parts on his chest, wich really annoys me every time i look at him.

Hope they'll send you a new one.

Sounds great! BBTS does seem like a good store, but I'm in Canada and don't want to pay the extra shipping, so I've never used them. Ages Three And Up is right nearby anyway, I can just preorder things and pick them up at my convenience, free of shipping costs! :grin:

the only way for me to get my hands on these things are via internet. Sweden really don't haveany good shops for masterpiece or G1 stuff... just the ordinary things at Toys 'r us and such, and I don't really fancy the movie toyline

Chinese quality support at its best. I am sorry for your loss. The problem looks like carelessness and neglect on the manufacturers part. I wish Takara would get better QC. Enough is enough.

Yes, I have been noting this for quite a while now, and not just limited to the MP line either.

Shockingly, Hasbro appears to be doing a better job of QC the last year then they have previously.

oh well, it got shipped back today atleast.
The shipping ended at 289 SEK, which would be about 44 USD.
Don't know what to get yet, but I'llprobably find something ^^

Yeah I am pretty lucky. Sometimes they take a little longer to get their orders in, but I'm okay with that. Gives me more time to save up. :grin:

Hmm, too bad it seems so hard to get stuff in Europe. I guess I'm pretty lucky living in Canada.

The problem is not only to find a store in Europe, it' hard to find Sellers on E-bay as well... most sellers are american

Though I was lucky to find a Classics jetfire in a store today, and for half the usual price :grin:

Wow, nice find! I was in a rush to find mine, thinking it would sell out, but now months later he's still in abundance. :lol:

That is a problem about the sellers, but most ship worldwide. I guess the shipping gets more expensive then, but I've bought a few things overseas that ended up not being too bad.

the reason I got mine so cheap was that it was being pulled from the shelves (to make room for the movie toys I trust ^^)
I managed to grab the absolutely last piece in the store and I'm really happy about that now ^^

And in two or three weeks I'll get my Skywarp again
