Question about Movie Ironhide

Motto: "You only live thrice."
Weapon: Buffalo Missile
I was just curious if anyone has transformed their Movie Ironhide several times and has ever had any problems with the little indent (on the upper body) that his pelvis clips into.

It seems like such a flimsy piece that could easily break after repeated use.

It is a fragile piece. I've read of other folks letting they're baby sister's play with it and sure enough they snapped it. Of course I won't let any children near my toys.

I've transformed it quite a few times, and haven't had any type of problems not even stress marks.

However a rough kid could, I suppose, break it off in a few tries.

yeah, it's a problematic piece right there, hard to snap on to, maybe if you put excessive force on it it'll eventually break.

speaking of Ironhide, any of you guys got a problem with the foot automorph? the left foot of my IH's bust, when i pull down on the rear tab the automorph doesn't activate, the tab just ratchets. i have to pull down on the front foot to activate the automorph.

any ideas on how to repair this problem? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

The peice isn't fragile on any I've seen, it just doesn't fit. And force probably snaps it.

Mine does the same thing on both sides, I guess I didn't know that was a defect.

Glad to hear people have transformed Ironhide several times and not have that piece break.

The 1st time i transformed that mid-section, i almost clipped my finger... ever since then, it's been pretty clean. Does take some precision, patience and time, though.

Movie Ironhide still rocks.

I Always pull down, on the Truck bed section, and the automorph works fine. If I pull on the piece that becomes the heel it just ratchets. and nothing else moves.
