Shouki and other (happy) problems.

I just recived my first G1 trainbot, Shouki from one of Ryan's ebay acutions today. First and formost I want to thank Ryan, it is in awesom condition, he really is very nice!

Now, on to the first of my problems (and and a very nice problem to have it is). Stickers.

Should I apply them?
Half of me wants to keep him in the box as he was when new and not apply the stickers, the other half really wants to apply those bad boys. I may wait until I have gotten the others, but who knows how long that could be?

Which leads me to the second problem, the others. I know this really should be in the Carbombuya forum, but can ANYBODY help me find the other 5 trainbots, 100% complete, and boxed (preferably without the stickers having been applied)? I am willing to pay a perhaps slightly more than they are worth becuase completeing Raiden is something I really want to do. They have to be in near perfect of perfect condition though.

They are pretty much my big grail of my collection, a very rare (outside of Japan) gestalt that combines my love of tfs and trains.

I must admit, I've never understood the obsecion with keeping things as they were brand new until I recived him. Luckily he was already open, so i have been able to tf him a few times, but I seriously think that for the time being i'll display him boxed, so can put off the sticker decission till a later date.

Just wish I could read Japanese, I'd stand a much better chance of getting the others I suspect if I could use Japanese auction sites.

I have the same issue. I own a lot of JP TFs and it always bugs me that I cannot read the tech specs. I'd also like to be able to check out the ehobby and ac toys sites properly along with the JP auction sites.

I am seriously considering enrolling in a Japanese class. I wonder if that would be taking TF collecting a little too far.

Meh, I don't care, reading JP would be super useful.

I knew someone who decided to take German simply cuase he loved Rammstein (which on the basis of the last two albums was a mistake, but ahh well).

And yeah, the early Japanese releases (ie the majority of the ones Hasbro released) dont actully have a lot of Japanese on them, but by the tiem you get to '87 or whenever this particular version was released, the boxes are litrally COVERED in Japanese writing. I'd be interested to work out what it all said.

It's tempting as a stand in, but a bit of a rip off pricewise as I can only get it on ebay, and we al know what ebay's like for pricing.
