Captain Modesty was allready show accurate to begin with, also there seens to be a lack of potential in the name and reformation of a old character like him to have a Masterpeice toy.

QFT. Despite his size, Sky Lynx's transformation was disappointingly simple. His cargo hold clearly looks like a box with lion legs folded on the sides, similar to the Voltron toys.

That YouTube clip always confused me. Just how the hell can a Boeing have VTOL?

I never 'got' Sky Lynx. I just don't understand the idea behind him, or why anyone would think it was a good idea.

Sky Lynx = 92% lame.

Seriously, the day they decide it's worth making a masterpiece 'Sky lynx' is the day G1 fandom has gone too far. Surely I'm not the only one who feels this way?

Sky Lynx you gotta get the club xclusive.
I actually just transformed this guy for the first time today
after having him since about April.

Really the G1 Skylinx is almost a Masterpiece, he looks and transforms almost identically to his cartoon counterpart. I don't know what more you could do to give him a more show accurate appearance.

Skylinx was a pretty interesting and odd character. He was the only character I can remember that could take on Predaking by himself.

As far as i've understood this bot, he should be called Astrobot, or Astroboy. There's no train alt mode in this version.

(Is there? Haven't actually seen that toy in real life yet.)

But for the value of the shuttle mode and robot mode, he is awesome!

I think he'd look a bit small next to MP prime :grin:

I always dug Sky Lynx, and I wouldn't mind seeing him as an MP, but he'd be large and very pricey, and I doubt there is quite the fan demand for him.

The charecter was terrible, and although it looked (in the cartoon) that his transformation might have some potential, having looked at photos of the toy, the toy looks pretty uninspiring too. If I ever got him, he'd have to be cheap, cuase the POS blue thing would stay in the box.

Sky Lynx in commercial jetliner mode will be kinda skinny. Something similar to the video images.

Giving him space shuttle mode will make him too fat and bulky.

Not to mention a direct competition with Astrotrain, who is not even in his league.
