In the real world it stands for Nuclear Emergency Search Team but they dont seem to have any military aspects but more a team of scientists, engineers, etc.
Whether they have been co-opted for Transformers purposes I dont know.

It's a nice cover, continuing to improve, as the sequel comic art was far better than anything released before or during the the first movie's release.

Hmmm, if the art looks like this it might be worth a look. I didn't even get close to all the other movie stuff because the art looked like someone had thrown paint on a canvas then had their dog drag it's ass across it.
