Man, can't wait for these guys!
It'll be the first time I order from the Club. Hopefully preorders for Marissa and Old Snake show up soon, too.
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

Do we know how frequently and how severe the qc issues are? I wouldn't necessarily bring it up, but I do remember that previous tfss figures have had some problems; most recently nacelles massive issue. I won't pay $300-400 for a combiner with qc issues that keep it from being a decent figure.

Basically, about the same price as a Botcon set for more or less the same amount of figures. Makes sense to me.
If it's comparable to 3.0, then it was $297 + shipping + installment fees (if you choose to not pay the lump sum up front). I just got charge $117 for the 2nd installment of 3.0, so hopefully closer to $375 or less.
$300 would be a lot easier to swallow. Do you have to pay shipping on each piece? I haven't done a full subscription before, and I hadn't even considered that cost.

I hope the 7th one is either:
Crankcase from Swindle
Guzzle from Brawl
Quake from Brawl (with Targetmasters and new head) (I think Pete said no on this one..)
Ironfist from First Aid (new head)
Logically, the 7th figure will be a repaint of one of the others. Who knows, though...

Funny, all the uses the little guy gets. i'm using the Micron as Fistfight, for no other reason than he matches the colors on Prime Shockwave.

Shipping is included either in the up-front cost, or the installments. It's not an unreasonable shipping price domestically unless you pay for the better options. If you are out of country, well, you probably know what to expect.
Where they get you is a "transaction fee". If you pay the all at once, it hits you one time. If you do the installments, they hit for each installment. It's like an extra 8 bucks. Or it was. Using the above example, the $117 installment price is probbaly the $7 transaction fee, $10 shipping fee, $100 for the two figures.
Someone else asked about how m,uch Impactor was.
- Individvually, if yu break down the set price, about 55 or 60 bucks. A Voyager=2 deluxes in price, and we have the 7th figure, so you have 6 deluxes and a voyager or "8 deluxes", 400/"8"= $50 each.
- On BBTS, or another, $80 Definately the high price like Scourge and Slipstream were, cause it's Freakin' Impactor and leaving aside the close but no cigar FOC fig, this is the first IMpactor figure.
- On Ebay, IF he get's leaked, youy might be able to nab him for 55.

What "massive issue"? Neither of the two minor misassemblies were big enough deals to inhibit any of the figure's functionality and playability.Hellscream9999 wrote:Do we know how frequently and how severe the qc issues are? Thank you for that, I'm having difficulties finding the terms & conditions for 3.0. What I *can* say is that I've been hit with 2 transactions of $117 and expect a 3rd in August or September. That should be the end of it. So: 7 figures, shipping, and installment fees should total $351.

In-so-far as I know, it cannot be fixed without breaking the leg; also there is the whole 'paying ~$60 for a mis-assembled deluxe' thing. It may not seem massive, but what happens if something similar happens to bludgeon? You would then be unable to combine him theoretically.

It's rare that there comes a misassembly so severe as to ruin the figure on such a large scale, and in the off chance that such a case does occur it usually isn't a widespread case, instead being a isolated case or so, in which case the Club can replace one's "broken" figure if the problem is reported and taken care of quickly enough.Hellscream9999 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:What "massive issue"? I agree with the price concern, but Nacelle's wing fins are a far cry from say someone's reversed thigh that prevents the vehicle halves from snapping together.

I just had a thought. Regarding the mystery 7th figure, with the Club having stated that they worked with Hasbro on it, what if it's something that Hasbro knows people want but won't put out at retail themselves, and so view this Club release of it as the official Hasbro version of whatever it is. Like, what if it's something like the UW Deluxe Groove mold by itself?
Or what if it's something like the UW Deluxe Groove redecoed as the G1 Triggerbot Override, as a sort of karmic reaction to how Takara handled the Legends Groove situation (i.e - Hasbro makes Groove a Legend --> Takara responds with a Deluxe, Takara redeco the Legends Groove as Override --> Hasbro/TCC responds with a Deluxe)?
EDIT: Nevermind. It can't be Deluxe Groove since the 7th figure is an idea that Karl Hartman has wanted to do for a long time.

RID Prime as Hot Spot with the super mode as Defensor? In this case use CW Hot Spot as Prime and the torso has a new head that's the super Prime mode.

Or is it...? Yeah forgot that. There goes my idea of a repainted Powerglide as a weapon for the combined mode.

I'm betting it's a deco or character that hasn't been done in a long time but is a good fit for whatever mold they use.

Im not sure exactly theyre "teasing" since the 4.0 figures have already been revealed over a month ago.
The real "mayhem" begins when the 4.0 pre-order site crashes 5 times and Brian sends out a barrage of apology e-mails for a week...
Im still pissed about the purposely missassembled Nacelle tailfins. Yo Brian give us 3.0 buyers a god damn $25 credit or something !
