Well, I might finally break down and get this mold. I'd previously passed it up, but now I kind of want one. I was just wondering what everyone thought though, Thundercracker or Starscream?

I'm thinking Thundercracker, I like his head more, and I like his colors more then the ugly SS. Any downs to getting him over SS?

Yeah you should really state which starscream you're talking about. I like thundercrackers head, and g1's head mold, but i got the movie starscream instead just because he was in the movie. Kind of not a fan of the repaints.

of course hes talking about the original movie starscream he said he liked the thundercracker head sculped better thats the same head sculp as on the g1 redecco if you where paying attention.and to answer your original question i would get both there only $20 dollars each.

I have both SS, TC I keep putting off. I don't like the new head that much, but going for taste, I would say if you only want one, get TC or the origional(G1 SS just looks dumb).

Both have nice colors respectivly, then it's just a matter of which head you'd prefer.

I have Tcracker G1 repait Starscream and the normal Starscream I'm going to paint black and purple to make him Skywarp. so now I have G1 repaint Starscream and his G1 repaint brothers

If we're talking about the original SS, I'd go with Thundercracker. I passed up on SS when I saw him because of his absolutely bland colors, but when I saw Thundercracker in Walmart the other day, he looked nice enough for me to impulse buy.

I have to say, it's probably the best TF impulse buy I've done, because the mold is a helluva awesome toy, and the repaint gives it so much more life and character.

I actually might go ahead and get the G1 redeco too; this mold is such a pleasant surprise I want more. :grin:

i got thundercracker, and he is really nice IMO. the head and the colors work really well. from what i've seen, G1 SS's head piping isn't that great so he ends up looking like a robo-hitler. i will get normal SS next time i see him, though.

Never got a close look at ThunderCracker (ie not in person) and thought that G1 redco SS looked kinda lame but I have Movie SS and love him great mold whichever one you get you will be pleased.

I acutally passed on Starscream, but picked up Thundercracker... (sentimentality would be the reason I'd assume, TC is one of my favorite figures)

But, after toying around with Thundercracker, I curse myself for not picking up Movie Starscream... The figure just works...

Hmmm. Starscream's initials are SS, and he looks like Robo-Hitler. Coincidence? I think not. :shock:

It's actually a good question as to which to get. There's a few things going on with these movie seekers.

You like TC's head better. Mmmkay, G1 redeco SS does have the same head as TC, but his light piping on his eyes isn't as good. (Too dark, pretty much useless)

The G1 paint app is just so bad ass, but if you think about it ... TC also has his G1 paint scheme.

Anyway, all of these points have been made in this thread already by the fine members here. I just kinda collected a few of them to put in 1 thread.

I'd go with Thundercracker. Personally, the light piping is great. Paint is great, he has the head you prefer. No brainer if you're only going to get 1 of them.

To make the perfect movie seeker. Take TC's head and put it on G1 redeco's body. But that kinda breaks your "just 1" rule. :grin:

I have all 3. They look great standing next to each other.
