Transcanning... Any Clue?

Does anyone here have any clue yet what the Transcanning Prime and Bumblebee actually do? My supplier priced them even higher than the Voyagers.

Yeah, by all accounts they're proto-form style figs (sort of like the Protoform Prime and Starscream) which apparently still transform into entry modes, but also come with 'vehicle mode' armour to make the robot forms look like their Earthen modes. I'm not sure what scale they are, though.

Thanks... that's what I thought. They remind me of protoforms, and the pics I've seen look like Deluxe class. Costing more than a Voyager? Better be damned good!

Weapon: Turret Gun
excuse me if this is an allready asked or obvious question

Can they transform into an earth alt mode once they have the armour attached or is it purely an aesthetic differnce to the robot mode with no transforming functionallity

From the few pics and the description, I'd say the latter.

Weapon: Dark Saber Sword
I think they're only going to be released in Japan, that might be why they're so expensive.
