Transformers Universe: Bumblebee News Roundup
- Motto: "Transform and rise up!"

Two things going on in the world of the Transformers Universe: Bumblebee film here, the first is that MercuryNews goes over the history of the filming in Santa Cruz and the subsequent renaming to "Brighton Falls" for the Bumblebee production itself. The article speaks of how filming in Santa Cruz is important for the local economy too. It's worth a read through for those interested in film and the impact on a local economy with it. Here is a little blurb about that fact:
The second if the announcement from the CBS local affiliate in California that filming in Santa Cruz has wrapped.

Be sure to follow the links if you are interested and discuss it in our Energon Pub forums!
“Having movies filmed in Santa Cruz is great for the overall local economy. Local jobs, visitor serving retail and restaurants all have a boost whenever a film crew comes to town,” Lipscomb said. “Having numerous films shot in Santa Cruz raises our profile in general and can be a draw for tourists as well. Yes, we highly support having Santa Cruz as a location for the film industry.”

Peter Cullen Confirms to be in the Upcoming Bumblebee Live Action film
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
Fellow Seibertronian Stuartmaximus has found a youtube video from CineMovie which has Peter Cullen confirming that you will hear his voice in the upcoming Bumblebee Live Action film. He is short and to the point with his "yes" as you can see below.
We do not know if that means the film will begin in current times and be told as an older tale or if we will hear the voice through narration or even if Peter Cullen will be voicing Optimus Prime at all, though it is what everyone would assume.

I can see this as a cameo from when he contacts Bee, a flashback from a battle on Cybertron, or Cullen mimics Stan Lee.

Always thought that Prime would have a small cameo in this film.
They don't even need to show him it could probably be just his voice like the narrations from the first few films.

Yes, but the point here is not a "it's not like muh G1" general statement, it's saying that Movie Ironhide not sounding like G1 Ironhide is evidence against Peter Cullen voicing Movie Ironhide like G1 Ironhide.

I doubt that Cullen would voice Ironhide since we have Jess Harnell for that and the big guy doesn't land on Earth until 2007.

Unless that one art piece in TLK retcons Ironhide as having been on Earth in the 19th Century.Quantum Surge wrote:I doubt that Cullen would voice Ironhide since we have Jess Harnell for that and the big guy doesn't land on Earth until 2007.

Funny seeing that again, when I saw the first TF film as a wee little boy, I always thought that pressing the Autobot insignia would cause Bumblebee to transform. Maybe it was because it looked like a separate piece when Sam lightly pressed it.

Transformers Universe: Bumblebee Set Shots, John Cena Character Revealed
- Motto: "Till All Are Pun!"
We have some more news from the current location of Transformers Universe: Bumblebee before moving to Long Beach next week, featuring some more agent-looking types - rumoured to be part of Sector 7 as previously seen in the news - Jorge Lendeborg Jr, Hailee Steinfeld, and John Cena (also via Just Jared and a number of Instagram and Twitter accounts) revealing the latter to be part of the S7 crew, and his character's name to be Burns. A reference to Rescue Bots, perhaps? Or just a coincidence? Join the discussion in the Energon Pub for more!

with the whole Burns thing, it wouldn't be the first time that the live action films have shoehorned references from the various transformers shows/properties ect in there, so it comes as no surprise really
