Hasbro toy execs would be happy its an excuse to rehash old figs.
And we get to see a cartoon where G1 prime goes toe to toe with Transformers Prime Prime. Etc

Hasbro might be willing to rehash figures... but the fandom won't. As for doing a cartoon in that style of animation, I would not mind at all. Absolutely love Armada for what it is, so something similar would tickle me.

Time and again, Hasbro has stated that their focus is on moving forward, not backward, with the brand. That's why they have no interest in making a new G1 cartoon or reunion of the G1 voice cast as their G1 characters. They don't want to go back to G1 territory cuz they want to keep striving towards new territory.
