I remember frequenting a music store in Nottingham when I was a teenager. It was called the Three Disc Select-A-Disc or something. Is it still there? And the X-Treme Festival's near there, is it not?

I also remember trying to drive out of Nottingham and all the signs led me into a circle; I couldn't find a sign that would take me out!

O, the joys of youth...

I dunno about Three-Disc part, but yeah, Select-A-Disc's still there. I'm not sure about the X-Treme Festival, though.

Driving around Nottingham can be pretty hard going, what with all the one-way systems and all... luckily as it happens I'm a pedestrian and live near the centre, so I really don't give a monkeys! :P

Alt Rumble and KO Swoop arrived today.

I'll open Rumble tonight :) ! I hope Argos get Ravage in stock soon. It's been 2 months and not one store near me has him yet.

I bought KO Swoop to keep boxed, but the insert looks to have lifted inside, which completely spoils it. :-x

I used to live in Brum. About three years ago. The Bullring was a cool shopping centre. The Entertainer was fabulous! And Selfridges was freaky. The only shop I know that stocks Holy Bible action figures.

MOSES! WITH CROOK AND COMANDMENT TABLETS!

Bargain.

Ellis is in Brum????!!
I thought it was London? :???:

No, he's not in Brum. His stall is based in the Idlewells Centre in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts. Hence my mention of the short bus ride; I'm in Nottingham.

Ah my mistake. It's all this talk of Brum.
Horrible place. Nice thick smog that'll really getting you coughing up a lung.

To be honest I'm surprised Hasbro haven't capitalised on these real gear transformers before now.

They really are among the best tfs out there.

I went to Nottingham once...to the Goose Fair. I still wouldn;t go again, unless I went round in an APC with a stab and bullet proof vest.

Still, I went to my local TJ Hughes yesterday and I found 27 A-Unicron's on the shelf for 9.99

I was under the impression it was just a really cheap clothing store. I can't believe I spent a year in Sheffield and never once went in. I wonder if there's one in Reading... :-?

T.K. Maxx also do toys, although I heven't seen anything I wanted in the Nottingham branch for a little while.

And Armada Unicrons for a tenner? At that price I'd grab a couple of spares just for kitbashing!

Thats more unicrons that TrU have of Jetfire... (And you could almost build a bridge to the US with the number of Jetfires on TrU shelves right now) lol.

My nearest TJ Hughes at one point had the RID vehicon re-paint triple pack. If only i'd had the money at the time...

so yeah, this doesn't surprise me at all. I think I bought BM Skydive from there years ago.

Full blown Planet sized Unicrons for a tenner?!! The Cyb Unicron I could believe, but Armarda? That buggers huge! And for a tenner?! I'm in shock. Perhaps I'll have to venture into one next time I'm going past and have a look. It's certainly more tempting than the £99.99 Energon Unicron I saw in FP last year. I know I've said I have no room for displaying any more, but for that price I'd make the room. Even if my bed has to go. :P

I checked again and they've dropped the price down twice. The original price was 44.99. They dropped that to 14 and now 9.99

You sure?

When I got him from home bargins it was £20.

Mind that was at the end of '05

I saw some TF Attacktix (SP?) in TK MAXX near me last week, they were £4.99 which is not all that cheap. I think they're kinda' lame so I didn't feel the need to post a any sightings.

I remember seeing RID cars and Armada minicons in the Glasgow TJ Hughes once.

Were the Unicrons Orange? (I missed picking up the recouloured one)
