Well you managed to win a mission that I was in Tek, so you must be doing something right with your level 0 'cons.

I must admit that I have noticed a lack of 'cons today. I've had quite a few missions where I only needed 2 opponents but still didn't get any takers.

Going unarmed into battles IS the way to win at L0, and at L1 too in fact. It's called a brawler config and works better then using any of the weaker weapons.
Punchs and kicks deliver just as much damage, don't have recharge time and are less likely to miss.

Jazz, there were loads of cons on earlier, i kept getting outnumbered 2 or 3 to one, and kept winning

. Must try without weapons, i have got x-rays all round, but ill see what punchin and kickin does for me

Didn't just stand in the middle of it - we had to climb up it from the bottom as far as we could go. It was really cool - especially as there used to be a road up it (which is now closed) and you could see all the bits of the road smashed to pieces etc.

Indeed, I plan to keep both up and running. I've got colony ships and cruisers on the way in 20 and 33 now. Uni 37 sees 10 LFs and 2 SCs.

I recommend 12 TT. See you in the field, underneath the awesome power of doughbot's tank treads, or at the business end of Waaaaghlord's artillery cannon.

It's good to have dedicated players on the bot side of things. It means you'll actually stick around to play (rather than hide like the rest of your faction). Stiff upper lip and all that.

Strafers enjoy being outnumbered. I should think avoiders, while they'll get beaten into submission, could also rake in a fair amount before the battle ends.

I must admit I haven't played much since it came back online. Haven't had the time now I've reassigned it to other things. I actually started writing music this week!

If you're gonna go brawling (which you kinda should. Save that energon for the better weapons) I reccomend at least a point in strength when you can. I know brawling was toned down a little, but as far as I know it's still overpowered compared to weapons. So milk that cash cow!

I'm gonna go bring the mighty ODB back online, and start filling ridiculous missions (like the 1-10s).

Really? In that case, they must all be scared of my 'bots cos I sure as heck didn't see much opposition. The Preds were putting up more of a fight.

Its not really that good - I prefer missions. The only time I go in the arena is if all the mission options I have are almost full for cons but with no bots entered. What's the point of joining a mission that you're definitely going to lose because there's no chance that the sides will even out.
