*groan* Don't say that. Belgium is still lacking half the Classics. Optimus, Megatron, Rodimus, Bumblebee and Starscream are all MIA. Even on european eBays, they cost way more than retail and can only be bought through Paypal - when I can't refill my account just now.

All the classics were in many shops...but not very many of each
and when they were gone they were gone, months ago already,
and no refills but to Bumblebee, Starscream and Ultimate Battle Box and
separate Prime and Megtank!

I can confirm that people buy these figures at such ridiculous prices.

Back in early June, I was patiently waiting for Grimlock to come back in stock. It would come in and out of stock every few days, and for a short stretch (at least two weeks or so), there was one for sale for 80.00 from a third-party seller, and then one day that item was gone. I felt bad for the guy who bought it.

Not that this is relevant, but I did eventually get a Grimlock for 9.99 off Amazon. I added Jetfire to get the free shipping. (:

Wow that is wayyy overpriced. Seeing items like this go for so much makes me happy that all of my Tf/BW figures that i have picked up were not rip offs. But i fear that the figure im after next will cost a hefty price, Misb encore Soundwave, been seeing him for $45+.

Not entirely true I got Hound, Windcharger and Sideswipe too, and saw Smokescreen, but didn't buy it.

But I suppose we have so much stuff still on shelves because nobody's buying them. Transformers just aren't very popular around here.

Here's an idea, why not just buy the Takara Classics SS from Big Bad Toy Store for 25 bucks? Paint might be a little different but for the price, who cares? I personally like to go back to these ridiculous posts and add feedback for potential buyers as to where they can find the same thing lots cheaper. I might do that here too.

Looking at this Amazon price makes me feel even better about finding a random Classic Starscream at a K-Mart a few months ago during the small wave of Classics restocks during the Movie line drought.

And while this Starscream is very good, I wouldn't spend more than, say, $20 on him.

And yes, there are a few "sellers"(in quotes since I doubt that they actually sell anything) on Amazon who should really be ashamed. I've seen ridiculous prices like $110 for a Cybertron deluxe figure that isn't all that hard to find as it is.

im curious to know, which cybertron figure was it? cybertron was a great line, but there was no deluxe figure worthy of that price tag.

I was referring to the seller hotwheelskingdom on Amazon; if you check out Cybertron Soundwave, that seller is asking a paltry $159.99 (plus another $5 for shipping). I've noticed similar prices on other TF figures that retailed at the deluxe level and still are readily available.

Why bother even going through that charade since nobody will take you seriously?

is way too expensive for that toy.

I found a website that was selling Superlink Wingsaber, a figure that i do want to add to my collection. My eagerness fell flat upon viewing the $139.99 price before shipping.

this website was also selling Galaxy Force deluxes for over $100.00, i was pretty shocked by that, £50 for a galaxy Force Exigeyser that i could get for around £15 from another website i frequently buy from.
