Which Transformer do you think has the hardest Transformation?
So yesterday, I picked up alternators prowl and Rodimus for $35 shipped, and both are excellent figures. i heard that rodimus had a hard transformation so I decided to transform both without instructions and did it pretty easily... So far rodimus must be the hardest transformers that I have to transform.... I also heard MP Megs is like super difficult... which transformer do you have that you think is the hardest to transform?

I'd have to say Alternators Grimlock/Wheeljack is by far the hardest, and most frustrating.
Although Movie Voyager Ironhide isn't a walk in the park either. Specially to get back into truck mode.

Alternators Grimlock is a nightmare with his head.
Alternators Sunstreaker is a nightmare with his chest. At least with mine.
Voyager Ironhide is a nightmare to get back to truck mode.

Anyone who says that there's a transformer that's harder to transform than MP Megatron has obviously never tried to him out. I have a Binaltech Grimlock and a Voyager Ironhide and they're both child's play compared to him. The only one that even comes close to the level of difficulty as Megatron is MP Starscream/Skywarp.

MP Megatron is the most difficult, but it is not necessarily the complexity that makes transforming it difficult. It is the fear of breaking something coupled with having to apply a lot of pressure on some parts in order to get them to fit together. You also have to deal with large, floppy sections getting in the way during the transformation.
Alt Grimlock/Wheeljack is 2nd.
The rest of the Alts are pretty much on par with each other.
I personaly have never had much trouble with movie voyager Ironhide.

My Ironhide is still MISB, but my cous bought one and he was a pain in the ass to get right. The instructions don't help one iota (do they ever?
Of recent TFs, Ironhide is definitely tops with Blackout a close second for pain-in-the-ass-ness

Well its kinda hard for me to say because after 1-2 transformations the figures went from "what the hell" to " thats easy"
. To better word the question for myself it would go, " what transformer had the hardest initial transformation?" and to that i would say Leader Brawl and Blackout desert pack ( robot to alt is harder then vice versa).

They have War Bears...F**king War Bears...what more can you ask for an Unstoppable Army?

I don't own many, but Blackout is a real pain in the arse, with Alt Sunstreaker being the 2nd.

Any of the alternators are pretty much a pain in the ass.

So do you guys have alt rodimus? Is he that difficult to you guys? I transformed him without the instructions, I didn't see what's so hard about him.

the only Alt. that I had to look at the instructions is my Wheeljack. After that, he is not too hard. The only part that is annoying, is his arms in the reverse transformation.

Blackout is a tad confusing the first two times, but he's cake once you figure it out. Most of the movie TFs are like that.
Concept Camaro BB in particular really threw me for a loop. I misaligned his Automorph the first time through, and got a replacement.
My movie Ironhide is still MISB as well...after all I've heard about him, I'm afraid to remove him.

Before I found the instructions on the net, I tried transforming Unicron from bot to planet after not having touched him in over a year... the feet had me baffled. First time I tried getting UBB's arm in place was a bitch. And yeah, I agree Blackout still gives me troubles from time to time.
