Wow, that really sucks, can you post some pics of the suspect parts and I can compare them to mine. I bought all 3 of mine from TFsource so I know they are legit.
That would explain that guy selling them on ebay for $10 a pop a few weeks back, possibly fakes.

Have my three WST Dino's in front of me now and yours look just like mine, but the packaging that came with mine was the same as Snarl's and all came with stickers. (Grimlock had two sets of stickers with him!!)

The thing that jumps out at me first thing is the gold parts on Slag & Grimlock. They look VERY light and pale compared to Snarl. Or is it just me?

It's not easy to tell as Snarl has a lot more chrome on him than the others anyway.

I've got the Grimlock and have no problems at all. I don't transform him much, but his joints seem neither too loose nor too tight.

I was warned that the plastic would stress easily with mulitible transformations so I got two of each.

I got a Slag for $5 on eBay a month or two ago -- I like him, but I probably wouldn't pay the $15+ that folks are paying for these things unless I were really into collecting WSTs or Dinobots in general (or, like some folks mentioned, wanted to pose them with Unicron or Fortress Maximus or something). I certainly wouldn't recommend them as stand-ins or replacements for the larger G1 figures, since (generally speaking; Snarl and Swoop do not count) you can come by the loose Dinobots for roughly the same price.
They're definitely not for the MISB crowd, as you can't even see the figure inside the box! Plus there's the whole KO thing.
