Slightly over a year?
Try being here when the "Big Stupid Question Rush of Armada" happened a few years ago. I think people have gotten it into their collective heads that Armada does NOT fit into G1, in an way, shape, or form. I have the distinct feeling it's going to happen again when TF: Animated comes out.
Steam Nickname: Big Chief Devil Hawk Fireball

Beast Wars stars characters from the future. 300 years or so. Therefore it's around 2400 on Earth.
When they land on the plant in Beast Wars, it has 2 moons, and the people are primitive. Therefore, it's not earth. I don't know why you thought it was Earth when there were two moons in the sky.
Except, as we find out later in the series, it actually is earth. One of the moons is a fake. So you were right after all.
At the same time we find this out, we also find out that they traveled back in time by accident at the very start of the show.
That's why everyone is primitive. Because it's been 4 million years in the past all along.
