When I tried opening in a new window, the thread had been updated with three copies of the post. But when I tried to delete two of them, it wiped the whole thread!
Also, and I don't know if this is a related issue or not, but my post count seems to have been stuck on 1776 for ages. I don't usually pay much attention, but I've seen the number so many times now it's kind of burned itself into my brain...

Shouldn't we bring this to the attention of the forum where this is hosted? This moved do a different provider, right? one of those other TF forums?

And on the occasions when the debug error comes up when posting, the post still goes through, but I won't see that it's gone through till I click on the thread (which still says the previous poster was the last), and see that mine is there. It's all very confusing and perturbing.
Another thing I've noticed is that I seem to be experiencing a lag. Often the 'last post' name in a sub-forum on the front page isn't actually the last poster when you go into the forum. This includes spambots; I'll often see a 'bot's name on the 'last post' bit, but (particularly if the name isn't underlined) when I click into the forum to delete it it isn't there. I go back to the front page and click the last post, and it takes me to the thread, and I delete it. Then when I go back to the front page, the 'last post' consists of an icon with no name.

Sorry for the delay in relaying this information to you guys. The site is currently running off a backup server right now. HMW will be down for the next 72 hours until this problem is resolved. Apparently the database server had a bad scuzzy drive which has been causing the problems with the bad database tables, according to ThePlanet (the company which hosts Seibertron.com's servers). This would explain why I wasn't able to create proper backups of the Forums, Demiurgic City and Heavy Metal War during the past few months. The only thing that looks like something wrong happened with this latest problem are the private messages but I haven't had a chance to check yet. Hopefully once this issue is resolved, everything will be back to normal. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused any of you.
