BTS Toys, Is the company now Defunct, Dead, On life support, on its way out?

Haven't seen BTS Toys advertise new upcoming products in ages.

Is BTS headed in the same, died direction that Impossible toys headed.

Currently, The best source to get this answer. Is that 2015 TFCon July convention. As BTS attends that convention with upcoming products info.

Members like Daimchoc or other TF news agents. would have a higher success rate of digging around and getting to the root of this BTS company defunct answer. As some of these members often get asked by these 3rd party companies to act as liaisons to share info with the fans. These members just know more contact info than the rest of us do.

The different language barrier and privacy measures these 3rd party companies go through to keep stuff secret. Will probably make it difficult for an regular fan to find out this BTS company dead or alive answer.

They have been incredibly quiet after their last Novalord proto-shots, haven't they? :-? Especially when it's announced/delayed for release June/July 2014.

how many buyers pre-ordered from the various imports sites. were the pre-orders to low? were the pre-orders just the right amount to green light this project.

Do import sites order a certain amount and get locked into this amount no matter how much buyers advance pre-order?

Think it's weird BTS Nova lord would get cancelled. Nova Lord was shown in the almost final test shot toy form months ago. Nova Lord has the ordering support it needs from imports sites to mass produce this toy in the overseas factory.

If BTS closes it's doors. Can they please sell their CAD files for Nova Lord to another 3rd party company or to a KO Company like Sir Toys. TFC recently sold their CAD Files for the Dinobots and star cats to a KO Company.

boy you really want an Overlord don't you ? You've been heckling MMC and now BTS over lack of news on their Overlords. For someone who generally shuns obscure characters commanding "3rd party prices" youre pretty gung ho about Overlord. Maybe Botcon 2012 Gigatron is for you. Give it a chance, it's not perfect, but it's a cool toy.

Master Force Overlord is far from being a Obsecure character. Overlord was in almost every Masterforce cartoon episode as both the Temp leader then Second in command of the Decepticon forces. a Character that gets so much screen time, so much dialogue and is part of the core cast is not considered a Obsecure character.

Even if you ignore the cartoon side of things. The worldwide demand for the 1988 MF Overlord toy and the secondary price is so high. That this alone does not make it a Obsecure character toy.

No thanks, It was a terrible mold choice for the character. Think most TFCC toys are more miss than hit.

My theory is that, so long as BBTS doesn't pull the preorder away from me, BTS is still alive in some form or another.

BTS has been pretty quiet. I never put their Overlord on preorder because I have some general concerns about their products and this character is on such a large scale and costs higher than most figures... I can't just go on blind faith. It would be nice to hear about some type of update about this toy and the company in general, but I'm not sure that's common place. Impossible Toys went out in a bit of a hissy fit with some posts blaming the fandom. I can't think of any other "companies" that have stopped producing items and gave a farewell (this also includes HeadRobots).

I will say that the scene has mushroomed so much in the past few years, you've got to outmanuever the competition. Especially when vying for the market of a multiple hundred dollar product.

All we can really do is speculate as to the current status of BTS, except they are running silent.

I pre-ordered, One, BTS Nova Lord in September 2013.

Seems like this toy has been on pre-order forever.

BTS Nova lord has 10 plus imports sites pre-orders support. This is more than enough to green light this project for the mass production factory money stage.

Speculating if those 10 plus sites that had pre-orders for nova lord were too low or just the right number to cancel or green light this project.

Think had BTS Made the tank part look better and the Robot mode be around Twelve inches in height. It might have had more buyers pre-order this.

TFCon in July seems like it might answer the Status of BTS and its toys. As BTS often shows off items and info at this Canada convention.

Thinking the complex God Master spring activated gimmicks and all the accessories this toy has. Might be the reason, It's taking so long to create.

Eh, let's not jump the gun just yet. They're obviously smaller and have decided to try and make one big push. Maybe it's the last big push for them (Sonicron didn't seem to do well), but I think they'd announce it if they went under.
