MasterShooter Collectibles have updated their facebook page with renders of their second wave of TargetMasters. They also state pre-orders for first wave should be open soon.

Okay, let me get this straight: Third Parties have thus far overlooked the Breastmasters entirely, given us half a dozen Arcees without making her a Headmaster...and yet, we shall be blessed this year with an update of Triggerhappy's Targetmaster lawyer buddy, with his name rearranged to "Pipe-Blower".

I can already hear him claiming intellectual property rights on random Tracks jokes.

Hell, I can already hear every joke I've made about "Ass-Masters" (Armada Hot Shot, etc.) being declared too subtle.

But seriously, glad these guys are finally getting new figs. Next they need to give the Double-Targetmasters some articulation and more elaborate combinations.

I was just talking about these guys in the mini-con thread...and BAMM here they are !!!

Honestly though, I dont need targetmasters for characters that dont even have a figure yet. I may buy them, just in case. This might encourage 3rd parties to make Slugslinger, Triggerhappy, Misfire, etc. Hell, this might even get Hasbro motivated ! (yeah right)

But for now, Im more interested in their versions of Haywire, Recoil, and Fracas to go with their existing partners.

I was about to argue that you don't have much option with figs this small that become weapons but on closer inspection, I have to agree with you. I actually don't like them for that reason and the fact they all have the same head. There are some really cool target masters on shapeways and they are all different. It's hard to be sure looking at these images but I think there is a slight difference in the heads. Some of them have tall noses and seperated eyes, while those with the shortened noses are sporting visors.

Either way, I'm not too fussed by these. I'm impressed with the amount of variations that can be made using, what, two chest molds and two legs molds as well as alternating colours, but there's just too much repetition for me. These would be great for a neo-G1 collection, but HasTak's Universe Nightstick and FansProject's Sidearm have spoiled me for Classics Targetmasters.

These look awesome, we needed these just in case we don't see those other molds later on. I have energon Slugslinger & Sharkticon, with that I can use Sharkticon as Triggerhappy which he resembles a little then use Caliburst & Blowpipe for & I now have 2 Decepticon targetmasters down with one to go.

Again I have Cybertron Hotshot which I can use as Pointblank & Cybertron Defense Hotshot I can use as Crosshairs use Pinpointer & Peacemaker, two down & 1 to go.

So the way folks customize or if not, these are molds that can be used to represent the bot to use these guns properly. These are great ideas great concepts considering that hasbro/takara has been bsing, head sculpt body all look fine to me its a must have to a true collector.

Seriously man, you must be blind. First off, they're both made of plastic, and probably have some metal screws in them too. Second off, they can both transform into things. And thirdly? They both have colors on them. I could go on but I wouldn't want to insult your intelligence. Besides, if that's not identical man, I don't know what is

Now using my imagination or creativity that's y I also said can customize & the only spot where I see they can & do resemble is the face not the head the face. Lookin @ the cartoon face of Triggerhappy & the face of Sharkticon they do resemble & once again key word "a little" also in his alt form he has a lot of guns on him so imo having all those guns on him can kinda go along with the Triggerhappy theme/name. So for the so called smart people that pointed out they have the same plastic good call I see u learned a lot in school, & for the ones that said they do look exactly a like, ok if you say so , & for the people that wanted to see what I see hope you can understand now.

I could see the potential for a custom triggerhappy from the sharkticon mold but it would have to be a full repaint with wings added on to turn the boat into a jet.

As far as the boat mode as is, I kind of see potential for a Misfire repaint.

Totally unrelated to the Targetmasters, but I promoted E Sharkticon to Classics status a while back. With no modification he makes an excellent IDW style Finback and looks great with the recent Pretender updates from the Generations line.

Misfire was an awkward plane, but his lack of wingspan makes him almost boat like. And now Takara is repainting the sharkticon mold as some kind of autobot "ark".

Any idea if these 4 new guys can combine? Cuz Tiptop and Heater were the second pair of Targetmaster guns I ever owned, so if they don't, that'll be very wrong.

Of course, I also don't have any CHUGUR figures they'd logically go to, since despite what Reprolabels says, the leftovers from the Bruticus Maximus rerelease do not look that much like Spinister or Quake.

Will I still get these regardless? Well...yeah...

I figured out who can be used to be Misfire the burgandy cybertron Starscream that came in that 2-pack with Vector Prime. He resembles him enough to play that roll.
