Weapon: Concussion Rifle
The knee joints in one of his knees are completely gone on mine. I've transformed him 5 times at most. has anyone come up with a fix yet? Searched on the forum and googled it heard people talked about it but can't find a fix.

thanks in advance.

Future Polish or try to get with someone that can do shapeways. Megamoon from TFW2005 has his own 3D printer and might be able to accommodate you for a replacement piece. Good Luck!

Wut. Granted, he's a pain in the ass to transform, but the point of transforming figures is to transform them!

Anyway, the knees get loose really easily.

Something about him seemed delicate. So I guess I just got scared and posed him in robot mode. So basically when the knees get loose he becomes top heavy and falls over ? I had heard some people complain about the heels and Shapeways even sells better heels.

I actually think Defender is awesome to transform... but the knee is comptletly gone on mine before i transformed him much. i recently picked him up to try to get his transformation down. I think the knees gave out cause the pose i put him on might have stressed it. not sure but i rarely touched it before i discovered this problem. but since i've really gotten to know and liked his transformation.

The ratchet-joints on mine went to crap within 30 minutes of play... must be crap plastic, because they just grinded themselves down to the bone before I even noticed what was going on. Really made me regret buying the guy... especially since he can't even stand up.

I've only transformed mine a few times (I don't find him very fun to transform since it requires a lot of guesswork) and the knees are decent.

But I can see how they'd wind up grinding to nothing. I wonder if there's even a way to make Shapeways replacement parts. Has anyone takes apart the figure to see if it's even made in such a way that the part's replaceable?

He's definitely pretty top-heavy and those tiny heels don't support the weight well, so even before the knees wear out it's a bit of a pain to get him to stand up without falling back in some poses. The shapeways parts help with that, just makes him a bit mroe stable.

Mine has 1 loose knee now but he's still capable of standing unsupported.
