If you haven't heard, and I hadn't heard until early this week, Mattel is doing Street Sharks again and they're getting the MOTU Origins treatment with lots of articulation, biting action and also have action features. They also include cages that can be combined into larger cages. First three figures are Ripster, Jab and Slash.

Pre-orders opened today and are not exclusive. They're $25 each which I think is reasonable considering how beefy they are at 6". Release date seems very unclear, BBTS says June, EE says July and Walmart says August.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I was a little too old to really get into Street Sharks, I was a teen at the time. And while I was still actively collecting toys then I had other things I was more interested in (like Transformers, duh). So I don't have any of the originals, but I've really grown to appreciate them as a collector so I did end up ordering all three from BBTS.

Yeah I had a few Street Sharks when I was a kid and I watched the cartoon series (as well as Extreme Dinosaurs). Maybe they will release all the characters and at mass retail?
