Hello, I'm just wondering what you all think is the best G1 episode.

Also, what makes it such a good episode for you: highlighting a favorite toy, character development, story arc, action, mistakes (I'm not looking at you, 5 Faces of Darkenss. Really, I'm not), silliness, campiness, animation, etc.

Wow. Nobody has a favorite G1 episode? I'll be asking people for other iterations of the cartoon later, but for now, just curious about G1. Please post!

I haven't seen most the third season, but thus far my favorite episode has probably been War Dawn. I love time travel stories, especially the ones where nothing ever gets changed in the past, because it all was supposed to happen that way.

Also, Oriox Pax, Alpha Trion, Ariel, Optimus Prime, friggin' Aerialbots. What's not to love?

The Girl Who Loved Powerglide and Hoist Goes Hollywood also hold a special place in my heart, because they were the two episodes I had on VCR as a kid (plus the movie). I didn't even know what a G1 was back then. Just some cool bunch of robot-cars on my TV? Yes, please.

And those few episodes that introduced the combiner teams, because of the combiner teams.
