In one of japanese version, Galvatron was killed by the aerialbots.They fly into a circle and cover him with ice. Harely a way to kill him off since as Megatron is survived more worst. The circle look a lot the buddist or hindu circle of reincarnation. Does anyone noticed that Galvatron's belt buckle has a red cross on it?

I doubt they actually killed him. I think it was more like they imprisoned him in the ice. Same principle as what was shown in the movie.

Galvatron's only allowed to die in awesome deaths. Like getting ripped apart by a temporal anomoly he helped cause, or getting impaled with a giant sword threw his chest. That was so lame it hardly counts as a death even if he did die and I refuse to believe that. I'd rather think he was imprisoned in the ice.

Technically, he didn't die, just got stuck. In a manga set after Zone, some alien retrieved him from the ice and turned him into a new Megatron. I don't know much beyond that.

Nope. A NEW Megatron. Original guy, new body. I haven't read it, I only know what Chris Mcfreely said on the metrodome commentaries. You'll have to ask him or someone else with more knowledge of Japenese tf manga than I have for further details.

The Battlestars story sees Megatron take a few different forms. First Dark Nova resurrects him as Super Megatron. After that form is defeated he becomes Ultra Megatron. In the final battle Ultra Megatron merges with Dark Nova and becomes Star Giant. I've got a link to the archive of the Manga stories in another thread, give me a minute and I'll paste it in here.

I don't think a cartoon would do, but an updated Battlestars comic would do nicely. I think he is the most coolest Megatron yet, shame there isn't a figure of him like there is with most of the Battlestars characters. I think he is the most dangerous Megatron too, because any human he captures will more than likely get eaten, rather then just be taken prisoner. Earlier the Decepticons just seemed to ignore humans if they weren't in the way, but now they don't. And not just is it Megatron that eats humans, his goons do too.

That does sound interesting.. If they do it tastefully rather then just throw buckets of blood and whatever, they can make something like that absolutely scary rather then just a camp gorefest. Some of the scariest movies/cartoons have only a little blood in them, but man, can they keep awake and under your covers. There is just enough blood shown where it gives you the creeps, but not so much that it loses its shock when you see it. I have wanted to see a Tf cartoon or comic where the Decepticons became interested in humans for evil reasons, and the Autobots are trying to rescue us and drive the 'cons off the planet. So Decepticons wanting to enslave us or eat us in a story make them sound more threatening. I know in G1 Megatron wanted to enslave humans, and that made G1 interesting.

Yea themost shocking movies are like Alien, you never see a lot of the monster and not to much blood, but hell it makes you jump!
Well Gantz has a lot of blood, but at least it has stile, unlike sit like saw and hostel. It's like one ep is full of blood and gore, the next is pure story and the next is a mix of both.
I'm no persen that takes pleasure in other peoples pain, but I just love stuff like GANTZ, cos it makes us apresiat our lives and showes us how important morels are!

Take the old G1 cartoon for example, and strip it of its plotholes and its ridiculous parts. (not the funny parts, just the stuff that doesn't make sense.) The Decepticons and Autobots still have their war, still fighting over saving their planet and getting energon. Now take the series up almost the point of the movie, but instead the big thing that happens is that Megatron finds out that consuming humans gives more energy then energon cubes! They still go out and get energon, but now they gather humans also. So the Autobots find out about this and try to stop the D's, but the humans who are aligned with the Autobots wonder if they have to worry about the A's that don't like humans, as they might end up seeing humans as an energy source only. And in the end, Megatron decides he wants to rule Earth and colonise it with Decepticons now instead of Cybertron, as Earth is a veritable Eden, and Cybertron is a dead planet.

For that specific story arc it's the Battlestars pages lifted to the right under the TV Magazine heading. Pretty much all of the manga ties loosely into the various G1 cartoons with Battlestars carrying on the continuity after Victory and Zone.
