Just a reminder, this morning's TF Animated is the second part of the return of the Decepticon leader. Watch Megatron smash Autbots, degrade Starscream, and make an attempt to retrieve the Allspark.

'Megatron Rising'part 2--Episode 16-- airs today at 10:30 AM EST.

Then tune in next Saturday, as season 2 rolls in with the very highly anticipated opening episode, 'Elite Guard'!

Man I absolutely this Megatron. Corey Burton does an incredible job with Megatron's voice. The last two episodes have been great and were exactly what I've been looking for out of this series. Kudos to everyone involved with Transformers Animated.

SPOILERS I'm actually kinda dissapointed with this episode, I was hoping for Sari to go off with Blackarachnia and leave the Autobots but that didn't happen. Well Megatron kicked ass and the allspark was dstroyed again

I know what it is that he was going to tell her that she isn't human at least not in the way we are. Sari is like a replicant from blade runner where she is human but she has some sort of cybertron dna mixed into to her genetic makeup which allows to her to use the all spark. Also episode was pretty good at least there build megatron up as threat unstead of letting him stomp all over the autobot in one episode. the other question I have is did anyone notice were the ship end up this is yet another homage to g1 and original ark.

"degrade Starscream"- LOL! It's taped, so I'll watch it later, not too worried about spiolers. This show is really coming into its own, I"m enjoying it a lot. I wish I could watch it w/ my daughter, but she's only 3 and it's a little too rough for her IMO.

Now let's get the toys in stores!

I wanted to see Black Arachnia and the dinobots in the frey but it was not to be

This episode has completely taken away all of my fears. The writing was top notch, and the way Prime's personality came back around made all of his previous episodes make sense finally.

I, too, think Sari is either a machine (which is sad, I was hoping she was just a normal girl.) or a cyborg. Maybe we'll find out in the next episodes.

...however, her father being with Megatron, maybe that's the secret...maybe there's more to their story that we just haven't seen.

One thing about this episode...with a little knowhow, you could easily edit TransForm And Roll Out, and add these two episodes together at the end and make it all one giant full length feature.

Not only would you cut out pointless episodes in between, but with it using the core characters in both pieces, it would move fluidly from one segment to the next.

Now, the losses in doing so, are as follows:

Arcee
Dinobots
Elita 1
Lockdown

Problem is, even as good as those two episodes were...they're easily forgettable in favor this idea I just had here.

The other problem is, other than two episodes...you could easily wipe them out of the lineup completely due to the quality of the pilot and the season finale. Those five episodes have more oomph packed in them than the entire first season combined. I certainly hope season two has a LOT more in it and with better work being done.

I love the fact that I put the entire series (so far, as aired) on DVD. Now I can make my master edit to the pilot and turn it into a real movie. I'd say the runtime would be about...103 minutes long. Which is about the norm for any good sized, quality movie.

Oh and the G1 homage of the Ark sitting in the side of a mountain...yeah. Caught that. Blatant.

Wwo, this episode was great. Megatron was fantastic. Maybe Im being biased cause this was and actual Bot VS Con episode but it was nice. At the same time, it also showed why the traditional Bot Vs Con battles in every episode wont work.

Definately turned me a bit on my opinion on Animated today.

I thought it was okay, but I thought the animation was below the normal level for this show, or so it seemed to me.

The action was really good.

Was anyone like me, hoping that the Allspark was going to transform the ark into Omega? I mean I knew it wouldn't happen, but I was kind of hoping.

So the Allspark energy is spread out now? Are they going to have to go searching for pieces with the largest amounts and try to re-unite them? Does it mean that other bots will have been randomly brought to life because of the energy (like Wreck Gar, Omega, etc.?)?

Just thinking out loud here.

GAH! I hope not. That smacks of A/E/C. I was kinda hoping we'd get past all of that.

Guys, if Sari was a robot, you'd think she'd have figured it out. Of course, it would be a great explanation as to why she doesn't suck like every other human kid from transformers. Oh, and Blitzwing really shined this episode. He's definely one of the better characters in the series. And, finally, prime should wear the faceplate for often. he looks so dorky without it.

I've got a good feeling that season 2 will beat the pants off the season 1 now that the Decepticons are back in full force. As much as I enjoyed this episode, there are a few sloppy loose ends. The rather pointless journey to Dinobot Island, Blackarachnia disappearing from sight, no explanation about how Sumdac got out of Megsy's hand at the beginning, nor how he got back INTO it at the end. Careless writing. On the other hand, the Autobots seem a lot more sober in the heat of battle, which adds to the seriousness of the situation. A plus, then. I'm looking forward to the upcoming episodes when we'll see some new Autobot faces. It seems only the Decepticons have had new recruits in season 1. :-P

Not so much hoping, as expecting, based on the various rumours that have been around. I think it would have been cool if he had shown up.

When the Allspark opened, I did think it was going to bring the ship to life, just because it seemed like that kind of moment.

Overall, a very good season ender even though more new episodes are coming the next two weekends at least. I was a little disappointed that the Dinobots didn't show up to help the Autobots (with a little persuasion, of course). I mean, they did crash onto Dinobot Island, right? It sure looked like it.

Anyway, great episode with a kick-ass Megatron whose Earth mode toy I absolutely cannot wait to buy. And I loved that the Autobots' ship in now in the side of a mountain. Nice G1 touch. Can't wait for the Elite Guard to arrive next week.

I have two thoughts about that.

1. Optimus Prime wanted to prove that he could do it and show his leadership skills.

2. Optimus doesn't like Ultra Magnus. So he's probably avoiding having to call Cybertron cause he'd have to tell Magnus he failed.

I loved the episode. And the G1 nod with the mountain was great. Although I was born in the 90s and grew up with Beast Wars so I thought it was a nod to that when the Maximal ship crashed and was hanging off a cliff. :lol:

The more I see of Earth mode Megs the more I want him! :oops:

Same with Starscream, I am in serious need of those guys. Everyone shined in this eppy. Animated will be the first TF series where I absolutely HAVE to get every character.

So what was with Screamer's key moment during Megs blasting him with his cannon? The key did something. Maybe made him more powerful? Maybe in the least kept him from joining the well of all sparks?

Count me in now officially as one of those who was expecting to see the ark turn in to Omega Supreme this episode. Instead, it just became all stuck in the mountain. I hope it doesn't stay that way. I officially now believe, though I doubted before, that it is Omega Supreme. From what the Cons are dishing out, I'd say the Bots need him.

Well well well.....Good! I don't know what to say right now being that I just saw it. Im still kinda soaking it in. It was good to see them fight for the second time since Xmas time 3 months ago. So what's gonna become of Starscream now? He's becoming estranged so Quickly. I mean no episodes of Him by Megatons side as he plans to overthrow him. They just went straight to the gusto with Megatron destroying him somehow.I thought for a split second it was gonna be an '86 movie death all over agian, But instead he just fell cripple so we know thats not the end of Starscream. I dont see how Megs will ever forgive him the rest of the season and allow him back in the ranks of the Decepticons. And whats Blackarchnia's story now? Megatron nor the other 'Cons didnt seem to concerned with her whereabouts. And I guess Sari will be the keeper of the Key after all.huh.... 8-|

ok. Did the ending have to end like that? Do they always have to have some Catastrophic end to a fight? Every fight dosent have to be so EPIC. They could leave us waiting for the next time and have Megatron say "Decepticons Retreat!" HA, That would have been Classic , It would be ok to have a little bit of that stuff. I can't even possibly imagine what's going to unfold now. Its anyone's call.

This has to be the best TF show since Beast wars. Yeah there are some stupid filler episodes, but overall it really is like an updated G1! I really love the fact they chose to base Megatron's design off G1. Its weird because his cybertronian mode looked kind of like Movie Megs, but his earth mode now looks just like G1 megatron. However he's a bit more evil and smart than G1 Megatron. I loved how he didn't waste time in punishing starscream...after all I wondered why G1 megs put up with it so much. Have no real complaints about the episode, other than the fact the dinobots never showedd up. I sure hope next weeks episode continues to be good, I really don't want to see another filler episode with a stupid human bad guy!
