In a fair fight between them, who would have won?

Unicron-spawned powerhouses versus highly trained professionals... Wouldn't the pros win over the noobs?
Life can be pretty sweet when your alt-mode is a B-2 Stealth Bomber.

Exactly. The Sweeps may have been created by Unicron, but if their performance in battle is any indication then he's not all he's cracked up to be.

If it was a beauty contest battle, the Seekers would win by a mile. The Sweeps are UGLY as heck.

Maaayybeee... But Starscream love or not, those Sweeps are Ugalicious with a face and body only Unicron could love. They look like space boats or giant roaches!

god

Postby Jestermon » Mon Jun 18, 2007 3:19 pm

I think the god powered bathtubs would win, if not for the fact that they are space capable, thus being able to fire at enemies that are planet bound from space, the sheer numbers of the seemingly endless sweep army would overwhelm 3 individuals.

GOOD JOB POSTING ON THE WRONG DAMN BOARD!!!!

J/K J/K

Considering the Sweeps are supposed to have had superior technology. you know coming from Unicron and all. I think they would have a slight firepower advantage.

But in hand-to-hand scenario they would get there chrome tushes handed to them.

3 individuals!? there are alot more seekers than 3! have you not taken into account Thrust, Ramjet, Dirge and Sunstorm! Let only the un-accounted masses of seekers on cybertron!

Keep in mind, not only do you have Dirge, Thrust, Ramjet, Starscream, Skywarp and Thudnercracker as seekers, you've got the legions from Cybertron, and Sunstorm, too. Cyclonus is NOT a Sweep, so he doesn't count, thereby leaving Scourge, leaving 6 Sweeps.

I always thought of the Sweeps more as autonomous drones of Scourge than individual personalities, in which sense they would function more like a computer than an actual intelligent being. They would therefore be good at completing their task at hand but lack the adaptability that the Seekers would have.

Also, let's not forget to note the Seeker clones Megatron mass produced in the Dreamwave continuity if you want to get into a numbers battle. Sure they would be nothing more than drones themselves, but they could still do a lot to reduce the volume of Sweeps.
