You know, with having a space warship in orbit, it took Megatron a lot of time to realize he could simply bombard the planet.

Well, that's... vague. Hardly sounds like a full episode description at all. Sounds more like only a fraction of what the episode's about.

I consider this show near perfect. My mom has even gotten into it and she too hates the kids.

Considering what the "warship" really is, it could actually be a really good episode.

Great. Let's have a giant Decepticon warship get destroyed by three little kids that shouldn't even exist.

In NO part of this description does it say that the kids DO stop the Nemesis. All it says that they are the only ones who CAN (as in, the only ones WHO ARE AVAILABLE) to stop it. Did none of you read the descriptions of "Nemesis Prime", "Grill", and "Armada"? It's so obvious why the three kids are the only ones left to do anything: Nemesis Prime runs amok, making the Autobots look bad, Team Prime is arrested by the government, Agent Fowler has to prove their innocence, Bulkhead gets trapped and taken aboard the Nemesis while the others are still arrested, and Megatron then decides to attack with his ship, thus leaving Jack, Miko, and Raf, the only protagonists left to stand against the ship. Seriously, you guys are acting no different from those "Trukk not Munky" Geewhiners from 1996.

THIS so many times! I would also like to add that "Crossfire"'s episode description said that Airachnid and Starscream would struggle to control an Insecticon, but we didn't see that, did we? People should really relax and not to take these descriptions like they're exactly what is going to happen in the episode itself.

I dont think you're gonna make them like the kids by yelling at them. However, i do think you're right. So far, the tiny spoiler-less episode descriptions have not reflected what the crux of that particular episode has been. some of them have even been misleading, i.e. Loose Cannons, "A legendary Autobot returns to Earth, while Optimus realizes there's something not quite right with the rogue bot"
that led a lot of us, me included, to think that whoever the Autobot was to be a little stir crazy and do something bad; it turned out to be just Wheeljack and he just didnt like Prime. So im less mad about it, but im with Sabrblade and Zequem: if you don't like the kids, shut up and don't worry, it's guaranteed that they won't be the only thing in the episode

Oh, how nice. We have a different oppinion from you, and it is WE who should grow up. Just because you assume thats what will happen, dosn't mean it will. Do I need to bring up the standard set by just about every japanese transformers show? RID for example had an Autobot super weapon that could only be run by kids (well technicaly all humans, but I don't remember to many adults in the cockpit). But the reason it says "only jack, raf and miko can stop it" is because it would be a hell of a spoiler if it said "Jack, raf, and miko DO stop it". (although if they fail, it would be cool to have a "twilights last gleaming" kind of story arc on the show) And pardon me if I'm not to thrilled about all the human involvment in a show about giant alien robots, I guess I'm just wierd like that.
BTW, getting mad at someone who disagrees with you, kinda the trademark of the GEEWUNER

And what opinion might that be? Did I , in my post, make any indication that one should like these kids? No. All I responded to were the jumping of the gun be thinking that these kids are gonna bring down a Decepticon warship by themselves, which this description makes makes no indication that that will happen. While it may happen, it also very well may not happen.Dr. Heavy B wrote:Oh, how nice. We have a different oppinion from you, and it is WE who should grow up.
Remember the last few times where the kids were the only ones lieft ot stop the bad guys? They failed during those time too. They failed to stop Soundwave form hacking the satellites. They failed to stop MECH from stealing he Dingus (as they never got the chance to do anything that time since Silas called for a tactical retreat). They failed to get the Energon Harvester to the Autobots from the museum. Jack failed to stop Airachnid by blowing up her ship himself (she got away in time and Arcee had to save him). Raf failed to stop Megatron-inside-Bumblebee from reviving his body. Jack failed to save his mom from Airachnid by himself (again, Arcee had to save him). And so on.
Except that this is not a Japanese Transformers show.Dr. Heavy B wrote:Just because you assume thats what will happen, dosn't mean it will. Not to mention that the defeat of the ship 9should it happen) would be an even smaller aspect of the episode than the act of them trying to stop it, and would thus be an even less descriptive description.Dr. Heavy B wrote:But the reason it says "only jack, raf and miko can stop it" is because it would be a hell of a spoiler if it said "Jack, raf, and miko DO stop it".
Based on what we've seen so far, it's very likely that the kids are unable to stop the Nemesis by themselves and the Autobots come to bail them out (like they always do) and stop them ship themselves.Dr. Heavy B wrote:(although if they fail, it would be cool to have a "twilights last gleaming" kind of story arc on the show) And pardon me if I'm not to thrilled about all the human involvment in a show about giant alien robots, I guess I'm just wierd like that.
Though, there's nothing wrong with competent humans (which these three need to be more of, since only Jack's been shown as competent lately. Raf hasn't been useful in a while, and Miko's done the least help).
Again, I was targeting a presumption, not an opinion. It's okay to not like these kids, but there's no need to credit them for feats that we cannot currently say that they will or will not accomplish.Dr. Heavy B wrote:BTW, getting mad at someone who disagrees with you, kinda the trademark of the GEEWUNER.

What I saw was a couple of posters expressing the oppinion that a bunch of kids saving the day was a bad idea.
I also remember jack somehow being able to fully controll a decepticon drill tank, dispite most kids his age barley having a grasp on an automatic transmision. Or how, dispite not stoping soundwave, raf was able to hack through a government fire wall with some laptop he got at best buy. Inspite of the fact that he's about 10. I wouldn't put it past the writers to have these superhuman kids magicly bring down the decepticon warship.

Oh, of course. Because hasbro never uses japanese ideas. Especialy not the idea of an evil clone of optimus prime. Nope never happens. BTW, unrelated to the conversation, the transformers prime episode with the evil clone of optimus prime was very entertaining.

These episode descriptions usually leave a good idea of the whole plot of the episode. Its doubtfull that the quote will be a small portion of what the episode is about.

And as I just said, I think the writers will have these superhuman kids have some great deal of effect on the decepticons. Even if they DON'T stop them. Lets keep in mind they are HUMANS. They should be of no serious help or hinderance to the giant, hyperadvanced, alien robots. Regaurdless of competance
While we can't prove what will happen in the episode, neither can you. So you really can't say that their assessment of the eppisode is wrong. All they had to go on was one sentance. Spin it how you want, the posters were expressing their oppinion. An oppinion you did not agree with, and thus, lashed out. Even if they were wrong in every way, shape, and form, they still had the right to say that its a stupid idea for HUMAN CHILDREN to save the day.Sabrblade wrote:Again, I was targeting a presumption, not an opinion. In case you forgot, this has been going on since the beginning of the franchise. Remember Chip Chase? He could do all kinds of freaky stuff on his computer or with Teletran I. Remember Spike Witwicky picking up an Autobot blaster four or five times? When he and Carly went to Cybertron to help the Autobots in "Desertion Of The Dinobots"? How about trying to find the evidence that would clear the Autobots in "Megatron's Master Plan". The time that Spike picked up a blaster to fend off the Decepticons in "Divide & Conquer"? Then again in "The Five Faces Of Darkness" in order to restore the Autobots and Decepticons, who were frozen? How about Daniel saving Spike, Bumblebee, Cliffjumper and Jazz despite being ten and unable to properly make his dad's Exo-Suit operate right, in the movie. Or later on he was able to control his dreams enough to help the Autobots, Galvatron and the Predacons fight against the Quintessons. Jack, Miko, Raf, Fred, Billy, Rad, Alexis, Kicker, Carlos and all the rest owe their existence to the Witwicky's and their friends.
Nemesis Prime here is not based on the Japanese version of the character, but more on what was done in season two's "A Prime Problem". Only instead of Megatron controlling the clone of Optimus, it's Silas. They only used the name as a tribute to it.

not sure I agree. skywarp and thundercracker are not exactly doctors, so just because they can't fix him dosnt mean he is irreparable. unless I missed a part of shockwave trying to ill belive it when I don't see it.
that aside if mech could remotely operate a bot why couldn't the cons manually control trypticons dino form.

right exiles explains what the cons "think" happned to him. non of the cons crewing him as far as I know are a doctor/nero scientists. with the continuity not being 100% between all of the sources ill hold out hope.....as unlikely as it may be.
