Wonder what they mean by "shifting alliances". Will he have to team up with one enemy, then with another, then with yet another again, all in attempt to reach the artifact?

Or in an atempt to survive. Remember the Scraplets episode. In any case, I doubt it. But it's still a possability.

Still early in the season, but it looks like main arcs for this season are:
1. Megatron attempting to maintain some control over the Decepticons
2. A hunt for ancient Cybertronian artifacts.
3. MECH's increasing threat to Earth and Transformers alike.
No sign of the "keep Unicron asleep" storyline that was hinted at before the season began - but as I said, still early.
