Pete@Botcon has posted an interesting tidbit on the Transformers Collectors Club forums. At 8 PM, Eastern Time, Pete will be posting something as quoted to be "HUGE" exclusively on the Club Forums. There have been no other hints given to what this big news is, but Pete has said that, "You DON'T want to miss this".

To view the announcement, log into your account at the club site. Then click on the "Club News and Updates" forum. From there, click the topic labeled "Super big news for you all".

As this most undoubtedly will be an image of some sort, we expect our members to respect the club and NOT copy the image and post it anywhere. Seibertron.com WILL post a description of what the big surprise is so non-members will have a rough idea what they are missing, but no image copies will be allowed.

Maybe news or pics of Classics 2.0 wave 1? They said that it would be mentioned at the end of January.

It will be something completely useless to anyone who doesn't already belong to the club, and doubt it will convince anyone who doesn't already belong to join the club. But hey I will be interested to find out what it is none the less.

Nice to see enthusiasm, but it won't be Fort Max. That's the question asked every year at Botcon, to which Brain says "No".

I'm guessing it will be just the names of the characters who will be the "cast" of this years Botcon story line.

While I understand and respect the decision to not copy the image that is given out at 8pm, it's counter-productive to business. No one is going to join the club just so that they can hear an announcement; however, some may join the club after they see what it is that the club will be selling.

So you're saying that anybody that isn't a member has no reason to see what's going on in the club?

It seems to me that there are quite a few non-members who are at least interested in Botcon and pictures of the new Classic line.

It's a little "perk" of joining the club. You get to see something before everybody else.

Yes, expensive for sure. Either way it should be cool. I'm with the Seacons or Botcon info--I doubt they would have to go through the Club just to show off pictures of the new Universe figures.

considering the membership fee covers the free yearly figure, shipping of the figure, newsletters and the master collector newsletter, also is equivalent to the discount you receive on Botcon and other Club exclusives.

Not that big of a deal unless you are cheap.

Just guessing it's one or more of these three.

And the hype is so those who don't pay, want to pay. If they want to see it early, they need to pay. Otherwise all you get are our descriptions of it.

By the by, I don't think we're allowed to talk about the Club in any positive way, because it will upset non-Club members who could become Club members save for the ever-topical interjections of how the Club is a rip off. So in true American fashion, as a Club member I will not discuss something I enjoy so as not to offend those who don't for whatever reasons, many of which are because people simply don't want to. The free exchange of ideas here on Seibertron thrives on such shut-mouthed freedoms.

hello the tfw2005 I can post for you this botcon 2008 toys...

classic optimus prime have paint purple and black
cybertron crosswise have paint white....make new jazz head
cybertron hotshot have paint gold and black....and new goldbug head
classic grimlock have paint black
cybertron starscraem have paint white and red

they come in big box with small toy

There are at least two that really don't make much sense to me, but it will be interesting to see if they make any of them. :-?

My guess is the Seacons.
Or something Animated/Classics/Universe related.
Seems a tad too early for the BotCon set info.

...although BotCon comes in April this year iirc...so, it could be the set info.
