The Soundwave track jacket is pretty sweet too. Might have to pick that one up.

They have a good selection. I feel they can be a bit pricey as far as T-shirts go. I bought most of my Transformers shirts from them, Walmart or Steve and Barry's while it was around. If you Mall has a Tee's Me you should check them out too as they have some stuff too.
Hot topic is the only place I've seen novelty track jackets besides specialty stores like Nintendo World in NYC. I got my spiffy Zelda Triforce Track jacket from Hot Topic. On sale too..
I like the ROTF shirt with just The Fallen's eyes on it though. Kickass looking.

Is the jacket you're talking about blue?
If so I got that jacket last week. Love it, but it's too hot to wear right now. XD

If it has a Decpticon logo on the front left and Soundwave on the back then yes it is. I also like the shirt with the plain purple Decpticon logo on the front.

I got a cool Decepticon logo shirt there once too.
It was plain black with a large silver Decepticon logo on it.

Yeah, their stuff is a bit pricey, and I always feel like the Creepy Old Lady when I go there, but the t-shirts stand up to signifcant washer/dryer abuse without fading or peeling or stretching out. When you're old, that kind of thing matters.
HK, who has been kicked out of Abercrombie. Maybe I shouldn't have been dancing to their way too loud Eurotrash music...?

Yea I get ya with the old thing. I go in there with my wife and kids; gets some interesting looks from the "Kids" working there. And I haven't been in Abercrombie in about 15 years either. Once mommy stopped buying the clothes after high school I realized that $75 on a pair of jeans just wasn't worth it, lol.

I feel strangely pressured to explain that I was not, in fact, in Abercrombie of my own free will. A friend of mine was buying his girlfriend a gift, and I somehow got dragged into it. (When one asks *me* for fashion advice, one is either insane or in dire straits indeed).
And as a former gothchick, I do kind of resent the commercialization and exploitation of my subculture that so *is* Hot Topic, but I suppose I will survive. Especially now that they've gone loligoth.
HK, I *never* did the black lipstick, though. (As if that makes it better.)

I have that one, it's comfy and awesome. You'll get loads of compliments.
Speaking of Hot Topic, Last year I got so much TF stuff from them, I got one hoodie and like 4 shirts from them. They have a nice selection this year as far as movie and G1 stuff.

No matter how TF clothing they have, piss on Hot Topic. That place is about as "mall" as it gets.

Some people happen to like the mall.
The store has awesome clothes and anime trinkets and that's all I care about.

In general I agree with you. I remember when 'goth' was in and they were selling all sorts of baby-bat stuff. Mass produced? So cheaply made it fell apart if you glared at it? So *not* what goth was about.
However, the only time I go there is to pillage for TF stuff. My thought being if they sell enough TF stuff while the, say, Twilight stuff sits on the shelves, maybe they'll see which way profit lies.
HK, obviously, you've never been to a Torrid. (shudder)

It is just too bad that such a hideous example of human culture also has some of the coolest things in human culture. Siren, I don't think anyone is bad for liking the mall. A mall certainly has it's time and place. That time and place just happens to involve me very infrequently. Pop culture as designed for teens is generally pretty damned annoying.

For those without a Hot Topic available near them (the closest one is over an hour away with an international border in the way) the shop is a novelty.
If we are in the States, we normally drop in and see what's new. Most of the stuff may be mass-produced, but if you live in an area where that stuff isn't available, it's pretty nifty to look into.
