Starscream and the seekers or Megatron. I always got the idea of that Starscream was younger due to the way he was always telling Megatron he was the future leader. It sounds like what Optimus Prime told him once that he was the older model.

I don't think there's ever been a chronological explanation as to who's "older". But for arguements sake, lets go with Megatron.

Well...

Personally, I'd say Starscream was only very slightly younger. But you have to remember that Megatron was created DURING the Autobot Decepticon war, not before it (in the G1 continuity). Starscream could've already been fighting, just always at a lower rank. Making him "older", but only literally. Character-wise, Megatron would appear older and more experienced.

In the Dreamwave War Within comics, Megatron recruited folks from the Gladitorial arenas. That in mind, its logical to assume he would have been recruiting younger (read: more easily manipulated) individuals. In which case, Starscream would've been younger.

I'm sure it can be bought on line, altough I don't think the first issue is out yet.

I say SS was older based on 2 points.

1) SS was a scientist before the war.

2) Megatron was created during the war.

Semms to me that SS might have been suffering from senility or rust in the logic circuits, which would explain a lot about his actions.

Yeah Optimus didn't tell Starscream that, he told Megatron in G1 that he was old and yesterdays model.

In this argument Megatron is definitely older.

Interesting fact X: In the G1 Cartoon, probably the oldest transformer is Blitzwing. Only he remembers the time when transformers were enslaved by quintessons (I don't believe that quints actually created them, I think quints only enslaved transformers)

True, I think Optimus calls Megatron yesterdays model just as an insult, kind of like saying your time is over. Also nice to see that somebody else noticed Blitzwings comment. Wish they had done something with it like a Blitzwing origin episode. This does raise the question of who is the oldest character in the toon though, Blitzwing Alpha Trion or Omega Supreme. Although with Omega its unknown if the guardian robots of the Autobot-Decepticon wars are the same ones that the Quints used to fight the rebels or if they are younger and just modeled after the quints ones.
