Ok, so lets say we could get a cartoon of transformers universe, or let's just say we got an ultimate battle Versus game akin to Street fighter or Tekken..

Or even just for the sake of argument:

Who would win:

Who would win between Optimus Prime G-1 VS Movie Optimus Prime?


Ok just for starters lets critique these two shall we:

So lets point out the advantages and disadvantages of each character and go from there. Keep in mind this is a hypothetical battle, with no reinforcements, its as if they were stuck in a coliseum and were made to fight one another..

G-1 Optimus Prime VS movie Optimus Prime:

G-1 Optimus prime:
1. has the Matrix, which is the accumulative knowledge of all the Primes that came before him.
2. Is an expert marksman.
3. Has some what agility.
4. Can hold in a fist fight
5. has Roller and weapons platform trailer
6. Has detachable plasma Rifle
7. Solid Body frame, makes him very sturdy and can take a hit

Movie Prime:
1. Has a transformable arm canon
2. unknown Marksmanship
3. Looks to have extreme amounts of agility
4. can hold up in a tackle
5. Has alot of kibble and skinny body frame, looks very breakable IMO

Winner: G-1 Optimus Prime!

Optimus Primal VS RID Fire Prime?

well RID prime, would appear to have a sturdy frame, he's also got a battle platform with a variety of weapons, which can double up as power armour. he's supposedly got the 'matrix'.

Primal has a small arsenal, is very agile (thanx to his alt mode), also appears to have a sturdy frame ('gorilla warfare'), a high degree of strength, and an uncanny ability to think on his feet!

i think primal would probably win!

The fantasy battles forum is interesting, it is the second most visited forum for me here. But it has a few annoyances their that to me makes the battle results unfair. they go as follows.

1. in any fight of G1 vs other generations their g1 always wins (unless the power difference is obvious or the g1 guy is especially hated).

2. metallics always beat organics even in fights where power ups, plans, advantages, or superweapons are given to organics to make the match even. Thus even if you assume (non optimal) primal as the matrix, favor of (and power ups from) primus and unicrom both, a super weapon targeted to counter his enemies unique mechanics, a special super armor, etc. The majority of people their would still say he'd lose any fight to a metallic. That goes double if the metallic is G1.

I agree, I think RID prime is just one of the mos badest Optimus prime concepts ever conceived.. even without the massive plasma Rifle of that of the G-1 optimus prime, RID Fire Prime as i like to call him, is one BAD MO FO!!! he's got built in weaponry and caries the Matrix, he has a huge alt mode, thats also a symbol of an everyday hero. though a staunch G-1 fan, i am going to half to defer to RID Fire Prime!!!

Thats not fair God Ginrai had insane powers like that of Voltron or some chojokin Fighter...its kinda off balance there.. but it would be an interesting match up none the less...RID prime does have the Mega Super Fire Sword.. or What ever is was called!!!

yeah but big Convoy though tough, has issues with being too rash and not having a great plan.. Lio Convoy is a seasoned warrior and very agile and considered a real force to be reckoned with...

Ok so that brings up the ultimate question of scale: this excerpt was taken from Wikipedia..


Real world scale

Although the Beast Warriors all seem to exist quite happily in their own relative scale, their scale in relation to the real-world animals they have adopted as altmodes is more problematic. While the "giant insect" characters such as Waspinator and Inferno are obviously not in real world scale, when considered carefully virtually none of the characters actually are. The only characters who have been clearly depicted interacting with real members of their adopted species are Cheetor and Tigatron, who (to take the former example) is seen attempting to interact with other cheetahs in Beast Wars, Part 1, who react in fright. Cheetor was shown here to be in the same scale as real cheetahs, which effectively makes him the measuring stick for all other characters. Rattrap is therefore obviously a monstrously huge rat, about the size of a large dog, Rhinox is a rather small rhinoceros, and Optimus Primal is probably a roughly normal-sized gorilla. However, Megatron is therefore an positively dwarfish specimen of a Tyrannosaurus rex, possibly closer to a Nanotyrannus.

The Beast Wars writers once noted that first-season Rattrap was five feet (1.5 metres) tall, and that the other characters can be scaled around that. This would make Rattrap one of the few Transformers who are shorter than the average adult human in robot mode.

In their few interactions with (adult) protohumans, the Cybertronian characters seem between twice and three times the average height of protohumans. Considering human ancestors really were smaller than modern humans, this scale issue is not as extreme as it may appear, but the point deserves addressing.

Size changing appears to be a thing of the past by the Beast Era, as the majority of the Cybertronian race seems to have considerably downgraded in size, apparently due to the Maximal Upgrade Program (although this is of course a backwards rationalization, since the show's basic premise requires the characters to transform into (vaguely) normal-sized animals, compared to the G1 characters transforming into large vehicles etc.). When entering the Ark, the Beast Warriors are very small compared to the dormant G1 characters, especially Optimus Prime. They are roughly the size humans should be (but usually weren't) depicted in relation to these characters.

On the other hand Robot Masters depicted G1 and BW characters like Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal as being exactly the same size. Yup. It's possible that passage through the Blasty Zone may somehow account for this discrepancy,

Also God Ginrai VS Omeg prime would surely loose that battle. i mean omega prime has the God Sword and really knows how to use it.. so in my view the winner of that battle simply goes to...
