Why aren't there any adult games for the Wii?

The Wii sucks. They only release games suitable for 4-year-olds for this crap system. Avoid it like the plague.

Claiming Fox News has real journalists is like claiming Twilight has real vampires, it's just illogical.

Oh, wow, I totally didn't know that Manhunt 2 was a kiddy game.
Or Red Steel, or Metroid Prime, or Alone in the Dark, or Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30, or Bully, or Call of Duty, or Ghostbusters the Video Game, or House of the Dead 2 & 3, and so on and so forth.
Wow, I'm so glad that my eyes have been opened, that games, clearly with an more mature audience in mind, are actually made for 3 and 4 year olds!

Oh, come on, man. How would you like it if I said "oh, the 360 sucks. They break down all the time, avoid!"?
Like Hugo said, there are some adult games out there for it, it's just that they don't get the promotion like the Mario franchise, and others get. Jeez, I'm sick of all the Wii bashing.

I haven't seen one game for the Wii that someone with an intellect above the average four-year-old would enjoy. Super Smash Bros.? Please.
And it breaks down all the time. Everyone I know who has a Wii has problems with it. The only proper place for the Wii is the garbage dump.

The games you listed are all kiddie games. You've just helped prove my point. House of the Dead? Metroid Prime? Nobody older than six plays those games.

Wow, there are so many thing wrong with that post.
You apparently can't distinguish the difference between mature and GOOD. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a game me and a bunch of friends got lost in for hours, marvelling at the gorgeous, well made-cutscenes, and snapping photos of bizarres poses we can get.
And it breaks down a lot less than the 360.

Don't forget No More Heroes, Resident Evil 4: Wii, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, Resident Evil 0 (Re-re-releasing?), Medal of Honor; Heroes 2...the list goes on.

The Wii only has baby games and sports games. I hate sports games. The PS3 and the X-Box 360 have all the cool games. Take my advice and don't buy a Wii.

Re: Why aren't there any adult games for the Wii?
I'm a Nintendo fan boy and I'll admit the main amount of games released on their systems are aimed at the younger generation, but that doesn't make them any less fun (Mario Kart anyone?), but they have tried to release more adult games recently as others have mentioned (I'm so tempted to get a Wii for some of the FPS it has (like CoD 3 and RE 4).

Soo....kids are allowed to play resident evil games now?
You know that's illegal right?
You'd have a lot less problems with your Wii if you didn't jump on it.
Stop trolling.

Re: Why aren't there any adult games for the Wii?
There are some, but it is a nintendo system and its geared for kids you have to understand that. The good news is the first party nintendo games rock, and they aren't adult oriented, which is fine. However I do agree there is way too much crap on the system. All the stupid 3rd party companies keep making total garbage for the system, in fact its the most garbage I've ever seen made for a system! Games that might get 3.0 out of 10 on IGN! I'm talking games like "balloon pop"...wtf is that? Its like a cheap flash game they decided to publish and put into production. its redicolous!
I will say one thing about the Wii, and that is it is a great companion to your PS3/Xbox 360. But if you want to get all the latest and greatest 3rd party games you need to buy one of the latter systems. The Wii is not a good standalone system at all, and I for one plan on getting a PS3 very soon
