Sigh* If only...(Voyager FOC Ultra Magnus)

I was looking at my teeny tiny FoC Ultra Magnus and was really digging the look of it. I mean, he looks like what I'd imagine a cybertronian Ultra Magnus would look like. He definitely fits that mold better than Optimus did.

To me, the only problem I had with the figure was his tiny size. Even the Prime is far too small, but at least there are good versions of him out there. (And I'm aware of the awesome add-ons and the great Citizen Stack that's available, but I'm talking official release). Finaly I get a Magnus that looks very G1 and isn't a white repaint and it goes up to Springer's waist. No. Nope. Doesn't work.

If only they had made that mold Voyager I think it would have been a decent figure. Yes, simple, but the character would have been correctly sized. That would have been a Magnus that would have looked great on the shelf.

Sigh. If only...
I have been into transformers since 1984.
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.
TFCon List: Classics Skywarp, General Optimus, BW Airrazor, Transmetal Tarantulus, Alternity Prime, Fire Convoy

I always think the same thing. Been looking at my WFC Optimus and Meg's and wishing they were voyagers as well. It's funny how Magnus was visited again and again in the Prime line and hardly in the CHUG line.

The irony for me there is that I think the WFC figures are a fair size for a deluxe. But even compared to other FoC deluxe a the prime mold is miniscle.

And honestly, the prime molds for magnus just didn't click with me. The cyberverse was ok but I wasn't keen on the rest.

Michael Ironsides playing, a certain YES. The toys, not so much.

The Pandora's Box add-on was pretty good, even if the upper body was a bit disproportionate to the legs.
