Blackwashing Blackout!
Voyager Blackout has some pretty cool neat details but they aren't filled in black (cheap Hasbro). Should I take some time to blackwash it? I have a feeling I'll like the figure a lot more if I do.

Go for it, and post the results.
Although a word of caution, the blue on Blackout's legs is all paint, so go easy with the thinners of it'll come off so I'd suggest you go over him and identify which areas are blue plastic and which are black plastic painted blue so you can be careful on those spots.
Good luck

Lol I've done Vector Prime and I still haven't posted the results >.< For my first time at blackwashing, I reckon I did great, there are a couple of smudges on the legs, and poor Safeguard is covered in smudges, but the rest of the entire figure is really great and all the details are emphasized.
I'll be careful on the legs w/ Blackout. Thanks for the tip.

Have fun with that.

I'm interested to see how both your VP and Blackout have turned out, especially Blackout.
If they both are good, what do you think of doing a kind of silverwash on Ironhide ? He really needs something like that done to bring our all his detailing.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.
