The Official "Your Collection" Thread
Hi all! I've been looking around here, and I'm dying to know exactly what figures everyone has! Basically, you can either post your ENTIRE collection (like I have here), or you can just say a partial collection... OR, if you want to be cool, post a picture like I have later in the thread!
I only started my collection during RiD's original US airing, but I do have some figures:
Autobots:
-RiD Leader Optimus Prime
-RiD Leader Ultra Magnus (lost, along with the half of Optimus Prime that creates Fire Convoy, in a powerlink. I'll find him eventually)
-RiD Deluxe Rail Spike
-RiD Deluxe Railracer
-RiD Deluxe Rapidrun
-Armada Voyager Red Alert
-Energon Legends Jet Fire
-Energon Leader Optimus, with trailer/base
-Movie Leader Optimus
-Movie Deluxe Bumblebee
Decepticons:
-RiD Leader Megatron (white dragon)
-RiD Voyager Sky-Bite
-Armada Deluxe Cyclonus
-Armada Deluxe Sideways
-Movie Leader Megatron
-Movie Deluxe Barricade
-Real Gear Power-Up VT6
Titanium:
-Optimus Prime/Bumblebee Set
Other:
-Softimus Prime (actually one of my favorites. ^_^)
-Optimash Prime
-Movie Keychain Optimus Prime (2, one on my keyring, the other MiSB... don't plan to open it, especially since I haven't seen one of these since I got it in early June)
By year's end I'm most likely going to own every single movie figure. XD

For those who don't know or are unable to do a Google search, "lay Buy" means to put some money down on an item you can't fully afford so the store will hold on to it for you and it doesn't get sold, and when you have the rest of the money you come back, pay off the item and take it home.
I used to do that as a little kid, coz y'know GI Joes are pricey for nine year olds to buy.

You're a sick, sick man indeed my friend. Nevermind that I'm envious. SICK I SAY!GetterDragun wrote:I have about 1550 figures, I think a list would be too long.
There's no way in hell I'm listing every TF I own. Although, as soon as I get myself a decent digicam I'll be sure to post pictures.

Haha, yup, thirded. Would take a few hours to type that up I'm afraid. However, I'm thinking of using a spreadsheet to catalogue them. My only fear is that when I do so, I'll find out how many I really have and die of a heart attack.

Your Complete Collection?
I have only 1
Optimus Prime 1980.1982 Takara Co. (sp) off Ebay. It's put in 2 though ziploc bags with assembly instructions. No box. I just look and it most the time, occassionally will change the tuck to Prime.
I have wanted an O.P toy for 20+ years and was very surprised to get the older one. I thought it would be from Hasbro. Btw did all the 84 transformers toys come from
Takara too?
Currently I've considered getting my favorite Decepticon Soundwave.

ZIPLOCK bag = potentially really bad due to plastic degradation. I would advie wrapping in tissue. Thats what I do.

Here's a list of my collection when i was a kid. I had to save up from snacks and academic awards to buy them. My dad thinks they're dumb toys. So i have to buy all of them by my own. (And keep them hidden all the time) I had probably been thru months and months of breaktime without food money. These guys are expensive!
A couple of years later, my mom did buy me 2 of the biggest G1 units i've ever owned. (Thanks mom
)
In chronological order:
Sideswipe (Lost/Stolen recently)
Red Alert (Lost/Stolen recently)
Silverstreak (Lost/Stolen recently)
Insecticon, forgot which one (Lost/Stolen recently)
Astrotrain, original black & white (Lost/Stolen recently)
Silverbolt, from mom (Lost/Stolen recently)
3 of the Aerobots (Lost/Stolen recently)
Dead End (Lost/Stolen recently)
Gnaw, from mom (Lost/Stolen recently)
For a long time, i thought transformers were dead. Nowhere to be found. Until a vague rumor of a new movie re-awakened me. Last year, i chanced upon the first few Classics series on Amazon, and started collecting again. Dam, it feels good!
In chronological order:
(All Classics series, except where indicated)
Rodimus
Bumblebee
Starscream
Scourge (Titanium series)
Optimus Prime
Megatron
Astrotrain
Constructicon Devastator
Jetfire
Grimlock
Ramjet
Mirage
Ultra Magnus
Skywarp
Cliffjumper (it came with defects out of the box, but i repaired it on my own anyway)
Binaltech/Alternator series. I got these half-heartedly. I didn't intend to collect them. But the beauty of Laserwave, plus a little push from a car-enthusiast friend, got me started.
Laserwave, Binaltech
Battle Ravege, Binaltech (not my choice, but the Grimlock i got turned out to be an old worn out toy, the shop had only this for replacement)
Silverstreak, Alternator (homage to my favorite among G1 i had owned)
Autobot Skids, Alternator (birthday gift from same car-enthusiast friend, this baby has the best car details/robot mode/articulation, beautiful!)
Rollbar, Alternator (got this because it's ridiculously cheap, $9.81 on Amazon, free delivery!)
Finally, my latest collection. The work of art! It all started when we visited a Toy Convention. I saw Ironhide, and knew instantly that i couldn't possible leave him behind. He's is a real beauty, he got me started collecting Movie series. (I previously told myself to stop spending money on toys, that Classics will be my last.)
Movie toys, in chronological order:
Ironhide Voyager
Starscream Voyager
Bumblebee 2008 Deluxe
Arcee Deluxe
Brawl Deluxe
Megatron Leader
Ratchet Voyager (pending delivery)
Blackout Voyager (pending delivery)
Jazz Deluxe (pending delivery)
Optimus Prime Leader (pending delivery)
Barricade Deluxe (pending delivery)
Bonecrusher Deluxe (pending delivery)
My next target is Leader Brawl, and if God-Hasbro willing, a Leader Bonecrusher!
Hasbro, are you listening?

You only have one, and of all things, it's that one. I'd rather have that than have my collection right now.

Yeah, what is a "lay buy"?
Lay away, maybe?
Anyway, I haven't cataloged my collection in quite some time. Maybe I'll do that soon. Shouldn't take more than a week.
