hey guys,
i live in san francisco and am frantically looking around the area for every retailer possible. right now i know of a bunch such as TRU and Target in pinole, Target in el cerrito, Walmart in hilltop, in the city i know of Jeffrey's, Target in colma, and the Target right next to it in the serramonte shopping center which i think is in daly city which may still have its TRU, and a Target in fremont but there could be more.
for those who live in the area, do you frequent or call these places? or go well out of your way to hit a bunch of these AND if you know of other toy shops in the city or around it.
and i'm wondering how many of you guys live around here. it struck me that many are from canada, asian islands, australia, and various parts of the us.
and obviously i'm looking for the 2008 bumblebee.... sigh... it's like a mad dash to get that sweet bee-yotch.
Bay Area dudes, where do you shop?

Aye here are some places on the other side of the bay.
2 Targets by Bay Fair Mall and a Walmart on Davis Street in San Leandro. A Walmart on Hegenberger Road by Oakland Airport next to the In n Out and Stoneridge mall in Pleasanton.

Nothing new.
I had seen a bunch of Arcee about a week ago at one of the Targets, then on a subsequent trip they are sold out

i like how both those targets are separated by a strip of highway. hopefully more reports come in about how both of those places are filled to the brim with bumblebee that they practically leap into baskets and carts.

They're like 2 minutes apart from each other. When I lived in San Jose, there were 2 Targets that were pretty much the same distance apart there too.
The thing is, both are flooded with people. Friday through today, they were both PACKED. Serramonte Target had a really bad selection of TF's. Colma Target was filled up with nothing but Brawls, Wreckages, Scorpunoks, and a few Bonecrushers. I saw a LOT of frustrated people looking for either Voyager or Leader Prime/Megatron, and new Bumblebee. I simply HATE those 2 Targets. But ever since the Toys R Us in Colma became Babies R Us, and all the KB's closed up, there really aren't a lot of places to look besides there unless you go further out maybe.

hmmm.... yeah i live in the san francisco and there are no good toy shops here. fao's been gone a long time and i actually miss it, if there was a kb in stonestown it closed up long ago too, the tru here closed up maybe a year or 2 ago and i check the targets in the east bay when i go visit my parents as well as the tru and walmart, and i've been calling the serramonte and colma ones so i don't actually have to go there using bart and coming back empty handed. sucks they're swallowed up with people. i just hope it'll come to a point when i can call and reserve one... or so says one employee i talked to. i guess they can do that maybe... unsure though. we should all band together finding bumblebees.
