It’s That Time Again!

Hasbro Toy Shop has already begun putting up placeholders for their San Diego Comic Con Exclusives for 2018!

As of this post, none of the items are Transformers related, but we already know there will be soon. Those of us that have been doing this for years, know about the countless nights of F5ing. Fortunately, they do give a date for release, so we can all request off from our jobs LOL.

What all are y’all planning on getting this year?

Thanks for the heads up, DavidT. This gives us all time to plan. $69.99 for the throne of Primes? That's about expected, I guess. It's almost $25 over the regular retail price for Optimal Optimus, but it is an exclusive and does come with some accessories (including the four missing Prime Masters) you can't get elsewhere. I'm definitely going to try my hardest to get this one.

$59.99 for that Bumblebee set is pretty crazy, though.

I really can't justify paying $60 for the tape set. Bee is already hard to pay $20 for in the SS main line, but adding two tapes and now saying it's worth $60 is pretty crazy. At most I'd say it's worth $50. And then just to annoy us the make Uruaz into Zauru's evil twin before giving us a proper Zauru to begin with. I'm guessing next year will be another Bumblebee and Zauru and "Uriad", making us spend $120 just to complete a proper Legout (and probably "Tuogel" the way things are going).

I'll take my chances with Takara Tomy doing a new Encore tape set.
