Remember when the Transformers brand was so massively popular that Hasbro couldn't actually churn out enough new molds to meet demand, so they dusted off some old ones and reissued them in new colours? And then they did it again? I would remember but those toys never came out in the UK, so alas I missed out. But anyway, I always thought Universe was a really neat idea for a line, and created some awesome toys. So, fellow Seibertronians, let's suppose the brand goes through another golden age and they do it AGAIN- what crazy redecos would you want to be made?

The only restrictions are that it has to be an existing mold (though for the sake of fun let's say that figures can have new heads) and the deco must be in some way significantly changed- no straight reissues of existing figures. Any mold is available, including previously worn-out molds (all mold degradation has been reversed by magic). You can make any character, be it an existing one or a new one, in any deco. Continuity is not an issue as they're going for the classic "Warriors across time and space have been drawn into a battle for the fate of the multiverse" excuse plot.

So, what would YOU make?

A few ideas from myself would include:
>Megatron from Energon Bulkhead (as seen here).
>Likewise, Optimus Prime from Energon Landmine.
>The CW/POTP/Selects/whatever they're categorized as Seacons in that one exclusive redeco scheme the original toys got done up in (Timelines was it?).
>Nemesis Prime from the LG Lio Convoy (the one done from Alpha Trion).
>Virulent Clones from Deluxe TR Repugnus.

You know what I'm surprised that hasn't happened yet?Making Dino and Que from DOTM into independent characthers.
Repaint the Siege Mirage with a Red color and a new head and Earthrise Wheeljack in blue with a new head.

Actually, I'd prefer this as Primal since he gets big gorilla arms, I think it would be pretty cool. Likewise instead of Bulkhead being G1 Megatron he could be Beast Machines Megatron with his artillery drone doubling as a giant diagnostic drone.

I'd rather have Nemesis Breaker and of course Leo Breaker (maybe using the Thunderwing headmaster if there's a way to mold the face in plastic instead of die cast), maybe a red Leo Prime as a straight repaint of Lio Convoy, too.

I've always thought Punch/Counterpunch would look great if all the blue parts were red and the yellow parts blue (which I guess would mean the red hands would become yellow). I think it would look really cool that way, plus the Counterpunch side would be the Autobot and the Punch side would be the Decepticon. Maybe as a Shattered Glass character? I was also thinking appropriate names would be something like Strike and Counterstrike, surprisingly unused names.

Combiners Wars Menasor as Megatron, with an AOE Galvatron combiner head.Maybe with some of the movie Decepticons to go alongside him like a Starscream from Skydive,Barricade from Prowl and Blackout from Alpha Bravo.

Well, here's an easy-peasy one: Brushguard from the TR Brawn mold.

Also, if this counts: the SIEGE Seeker mold in the Universe Ramjet, Sam's Club Starscream, Cybertron Thundercracker, Cybertron Skywarp, and Allspark Power Divebomb color schemes.

G2 Dreadwing in Blitzwing colors. It's a jet/tank triplechanger, and I feel like the bulky build and heavy artillery is a good fit for Blitwing' violent personality, even if it's a fairly drastic departure from his typical look.
