Movie Deluxe Bumblebee
Hi my son just got the bumblebee toy from the movie. I am talking about the old 1977 camero. Hey did not push the button to get the front end to snap down, he just pulled it. Now he is trying to get it back togehter but the front end wont attach. It just hangs. Do you know what I should do? Is it broken?

Sadly it is broken. Pushing the button to transform to Robot mode is very important. Without doing so the tab that holds the front end up breaks.

They are right - it is broken.
There was a thread I made about this about a month ago. There is a "corrected" version. If the search function worked I'd find it for you, because it had pictures of what to look for.

There might be a way. I found that some people had problems with their Camaro not joining up together, but still they pushed the button, that was because the clips at the back didn't hold it (that was my problem and i fixed it by pulling it real tight together)
Your problem is the tab broke off so if you want to put it into a camaro again you will have the glue it, or if you want to Transform it back to robot mode eventually blue tac will do

right, you need to remove the spring.
take your sons bb in bot mode and
1- push thje pin out of his right shoulder strut- the one which his wheel folds up on.
2- push out the pin that swivels the windshield up.
3- pop off his right leg, slide odd the windshiels and right shoulder strut.
4- there are 2 screws now, one just above the ball joint on his waist and the other inbetween the outer parts of the shoulder strut hinge. the body should come apart now i think. remove the spring and reverse instructions

there is a posibility that it is broken by just simply looking carefully the botom of the car i mean the toy and see how the locking mechanism works if you found out that the fat single tab that locks the hood is somehow shorter and you saw a small piece of square plastic falling or coming out from it it's broken...

Re: pin
try those paper clips and remove the skin first (the colorful rubber skins) and at least like half an each long that would work...stopleinad wrote:so get some little pins and hammer them into the pin and once it is out a little bit use the pliers to pull out the rest.
