is it a deluxe or leader repaint? Deluxe i'm not really thrilled with, what with the stupid shoulder thing...

Love the desert repaint. Looks more real then the poor greens they chose. Just have to paint the clear blue parts another color when I get it, but I'd have painted the clear parts of the regular anyway.

Every time I see that DA Brawl I think of all of the materials used to make extra brawls, and that could have been used to make leader Blackouts, Bonecrushers...

I totally agree man. Why are they wasting resources, time, and money on figures no one is asking for? It's like "To hell with what the public thinks they want! We tell them what they want!"

actually, I wanted a Desert Brawl. I was going to try and paint one myself but now I'll only have to do touch ups on the blue.

The blue on the DA Brawl makes me angry every time I see it, and Blue is meant to be a calming colour.
Seriously do the guys that get paid to come up with paint schemes for these figures even have half a brain between them?

I think the movie molds just dont lend themselves well to repaints, with the exception of Jazz I suppose.
Though I did see a custom Scourge and UM repaint of Prime on Ebay that was amazing.
DA Brawl is a pass for me, as is Evac. You arent going to top Cybertron Evac. It just isnt going to happen.

Yeah, it definitely sucks and detracts from a good repaint. I was actually tempted to get a green Brawl and a DC version and swap the clear parts. Then, maybe try to repaint the green version some sort of flat black or stealth colors, black and grey, and repaint the blue clear bits too.

If I for one reason or another managed to get one cheap, Id seriously consider removing all the clear plastic I possibly could.
That or colour them all over with a black Sharpie, anything to not have that horrific, anger inducing shade of blue.

But then he'll loose all of his beloved Allspark powers.
Let's agree to file this under "What was Hasbro thinking?"

Think the blue looks sweet. Honestly.
Now, if only they could make a "Universe Seacons Leader Optimus Repaint"
